This is the first opportunity we've had to visit with Catherine Austin Fitts and what a treat it turned out to be. Catherine was very generous with her time and she answered a lot of questions for listeners so please be sure to give this podcast a listen.

Just a few of the topics addressed by Catherine over the course of the hour:

  • The ability of TPTB to maintain their power
  • The idea of a "global rebalancing" and how that will impact the years to come
  • What events might serve to speed up the process
  • Her thoughts on the global gold market and the purpose gold serves for the average investor

And much, much more. Catherine also encouraged everyone to check these links when they have a few moments:

She also highly recommended this interview from 1994 of Sir James Goldsmith:

Thanks again to Catherine for spending some time with us. She certainly provided an abundance of quality information to consider.

Whether or not you like Bitcoin

You just might want to root for it....

1h1 hour ago

Ack! Just to note data expects BTC to precede Ag move by short period. 2 transits of 408-428 range 2 date! So....3rd time in 3rd wk of Nov?

1h1 hour ago

Ack! Bad news for economy! Data showed BTC 2 follow up, then Ag 1 wk later!

bp9291's picture

slightly off topic

So the US government has all  (or can print) all the money in the world, can buy anything or anybody they want.   Why haven't they been buying gold all these years?  Secretly or whatever, do they really think this will last forever or is there another plan or is it really just a relic?

AIJ's picture

An Oldie but a Goodie

Nov 4

Ack! IM data shows AG meets 'bigfoot sized short squeeze' last week in Nov, first wk of December! BTC *may* be north of 675 then!

Turd Ferguson's picture

Actually, Catherine addresses this in a way

Whether or not there's a "plan" is an open debate...

Response to: slightly off topic

I am a night listener,  I think this is an interesting question, surely we can't be this stupid or naive or arrogant, can we?  The money involved is so small, probably a few hours of interest on the debt.

Even though this is from BBG...

Lots to chaw on after listening.

Fantastic interview. Thanks.

She lost me.

How did she go from the gold question to breakaway civilizations/technologies?  How did it even connect to anything? WTF!

I guess she really didn't want to go there did she?  However she did talk about whether it is a closed system or open system.  Turd has shown the COMEX to be a closed system (to a degree, they release gold probably to alleviate physical shortages in other areas).  One system, the only system; closed, controlled and spelling out the price of gold to the free market.  No UFOs there, kids.

RE: What the heck is this about??

Craig, as you know I'm from the UK. I've said it many times here before and say it again - The Daily Mail are the No1 fabricators of "news" in the UK. They report on general worldwide news plus a shit-load of fabricated nonsense.

Don't rely on anything they say. Notice how many times they, and they alone, are quoted in the alternative media.

They report articles that don't appear anywhere else - other than where the Daily Mail is quoted as the only source.

The Daily Mail is The Daily BS.

Ignore them. They are not worthy of our time.

Great interview Craig...

I wish you would have asked her about "misfits"

Fred Hayek's picture

I don't see it

I don't see anyone really thinking that the U.S. can continue its rapacious, dominating ways but somehow put it over on a significant part of the world because the shrill, misanthropic voice and face of Hillary Clinton shows up on their "smart" phone as the representation of the U.S.  How much hubris does it take for the Don Drapers of TPTB to think they can sell that?

"Sure, we bombed you and destroyed your country, or are you guys the ones whose president we covertly overthrew?  You're not the ones we strong armed into economic policy that hurts you because we threatened to kill your president, are you?  Well, at any rate, you should go along with us instead of China because, look, there's our leader.  A woman.  So, now you have to go along with us because she's a woman and Xi's a guy. "

I know the pitch isn't quite that simple but the gloss that they have sophisticated mind control programs that they can roll out onto everyone' s "smart" phone is ridiculously simplistic, too.

Closed systems and open systems

Great interview, Craig, thanks! Nice way to get Year VI underway with A2A!

Gold is a unique element, it is very rare, an excellent conductor of electricity and is very non-reactive with air, water and most other substances, meaning it won't corrode or tarnish, thereby mirroring timeless and eternal qualities that all civil societies would likely strive for. The ultimate in star dust, it makes sense that it would be valued as such by any civilization, no matter what planet.

I can't think of any other possible interpretation from CAF's interview, given the context of her remarks regarding open and closed systems, than that. If (interstellar) aliens are indeed amongst us, and involved in commerce (not just abductions), then what other currency would they possibly be interested in dealing in--in exchange for alien technology, of course...

Bottom line, whether aliens are amongst us or not, gold could very well be the currency of the entire universe! How's that for a stacker's wet dream! :^))

Edit: An then there is this: How much Au will you need to bribe an alien border guard to get you and your loved ones off this planet! (Sorry, I couldn't resist :^)

Okay, well, open and closed systems are relative, and nothing could possibly attest to that more than Steve St. Angelo's latest fab chart... check it out:

If I Were To Be TBTB

I really like listening to CAF's. She's gone thru so much in her life to be where she is today. For those that don't know her History I urge you to seek her out and learn more. That being said she touched on something that I've always thought may be plausible and that is alternative energies. If I really wanted to dominate this Planet I would use all the trillions of dollars developing the technologies within the MIC, to ultimately pull my ACE IN THE HOLE. What about all these Countries developing Oil & Gas and spending all of there Capital to make these projects viable and then voila ! Here is a technology that makes everything you know to be obsolete overnight. I spent 28 years int he High Tech Industry and I can tell you that the tax dollars go pouring into the MIC. The MIC weaponizes the technology. And then re-sells it back to the Corporations for consumer use. This is partially how the game works. Now what is the role of Gold & Silver and why do TPTB hate it so much ? Because TPTB can't conjure it up out of thin air. And therefore it can not be used as a control mechanism that CAF refers to. TPTB HAVE to keep a lid on Gold & Silver. Otherwise the house of cards falls apart and the Globalists wet dream ends up in a gym sock under the bed.

Death Star thang

The daily mail is the Brits equivalent of the national enquirer so don't give any credence to their reporting,

SteveW's picture

@ Infometron: Stardust

I have always found this dichotomy in CAF and wonder whether it might be similar to Jim Willie where the "strange" side serves as cover.

She is obviously highly intelligent and very accomplished but she clearly wanted to get in the potential for aliens (in the English not US sense) and breakaway civilizations. Not to say that they don't exist but I'm an evidence kind of guy.

Regarding the value of Au throughout the galaxy there is a problem with your thesis. A sufficiently advanced civilization would control essentially infinite energy and be able to manufacture gold by fusion from lighter elements, much as the stars do.

And now the only way to listen to stardust from the originator:

Daily Mail

Still can be trusted more than the New York Times though, just sayin`

Hillary Clinton has taken the stance that if she turned her back on her own employees, resulting in their needless deaths (which she did in fact do exactly that), other countries had better stop complaining about a little bombing and strafing and STFU before she has their capital cities nuked.

That said, both the Daily Mail and the National Enquirer have on rare occasion, broke big stories that later proved to be totally true.

infometron's picture

Thanks for the original Hoagy version of stardust!

Here is the concept embedded in lyrics:

A more sophisticated version:

Regarding the artificial creation of gold, I'm not so sure how easy that would be, to emulate the collision of neutron stars. Sounds pretty uneconomical to me, but who knows what advanced technology might be possible?

infometron's picture

Speaking of advanced technology...

@Angry Chef, I gather you are referring to the Military Industrial Complex (MIC)

When Catherine brought that point up, about a new energy source, this is what came to mind for me:

Something like that would definitely be a game-changer...

worth the price of admission

It was totally worth the price of admission to hear our poor be-deviled Turd swallow his newly installed teeth, when CAF drops the bomb (@ around the 40 min. ), about ''inter-planetary'' implications in the debt and gold markets, and 'breakaway civilizations'. Caught me by surprise (how she went there), even though I knew she was at the SSP Conference, and has spoken at conferences of a similar ilk for many years. Clearly she wanted to make a point that something exists far far beyond the mutually recognized govs, and the publicly recognized technologies.

Poor boy was caught thinking;" Shit~! I could go read the posts in my own IWWTI forum if I wanted to listen to this crap - gawd help me. How do I get out of this avenue, and how da hell did we git here?~!"

We were posting on CAF two yrs(?) ago in DOTS, and she has previously alluded and spoken directly to the subject of the SSP, Secret Space Program, the Black Ops budgets and how the gov funnels money into them. She has been quite open about her discoveries in those areas - and for quite some time. Maybe she was a lurker on DOTS, so she felt free to drop the subject into the conversation?

Anyhow, gawd bless the woman, and gawd help the Turd.

Excellent A2A

I think we really need to at least look at what Fitts is suggesting. I think she is legitimately asking us to look at a much broader picture.

@ SteveW

"Regarding the value of Au throughout the galaxy there is a problem with your thesis. A sufficiently advanced civilization would control essentially infinite energy and be able to manufacture gold by fusion from lighter elements, much as the stars do."

FWIW, I pursued that line of reasoning (supposition), for several years, and thru all forms of classical and alternative literatures. I found no evidence that anyone anywheres on this dimension claims to have the technology mastered - and on other dimensions, it apparently doesn't matter. Doesn't matter - get it ? Take this over to IWWTI if ya wanna discuss further.
