As Syria becomes a new front in the new Cold War between Russia and US/NATO, these weekly discussions between Batchelor and Cohen take on even greater importance.

If you've been following along since early 2104, then you know how truly dangerous this situation has become. The opening of a possible new "theater" in Syria only serves to complicate the situation and deepen the crisis.

With no end in sight, it looks like Mr. Batchelor and Professor Cohen are going to need to keep these weekly discussions going indefinitely. And it's a good thing, too, as this crisis only seems to worsen with each passing day.

Must be my lucky day. Think I will stay inside, this month!!!

Interesting read about a ag shortage in Mexico.

"I went to Azteca bank, which is where I normally buy and they said they had none.  Azteca is owned by Grupo Salinas which is effectively owned by Hugo Salinas Price’s family.  Hugo, as many might know, is a multi-billionaire and one of the biggest proponents of silver.  He has even tried, without luck, to get silver put back into the monetary system in Mexico"

Professor Cohen actually mentions the end of the dollar as reserve currency and how this crisis has driven Russia east and away from the dollar.

This is the primary reason we began to follow this situation so closely 20 months ago!

Re: At the 30:08 mark

I mentioned it yesterday, but there are A LOT of Chinese here in Moscow. And it's not just me noticing it--it's the family who are saying it every day when we are out and about. Mrs. SS commented that it is more than tourism as she has noticed a lot of Chinese on the subway. Her words were that it seems like they live here.

Certainly, it's anecdotal and Moscow is fairly international, so take it for what it's worth. But it seems like a Russia-Chinese partnership is DEFINITELY observable here beyond the words of the politicians.

Regarding Chinese and Russians

There is some fundamental issues that get overlooked by the the "peoples" that shouldn't be overlooked.

First, Russia is a dying country. Their death rate and birth rate are BAD BAD BAD!

Secondly, China has deliberately created a very screwed up Male/Female ratio with their 1 child only policy. Many a female was aborted so a son could be had.

Third, going back to the Russia growth rate, Russian men die at a much greater and younger rate than females.

Ok, just this alone should help you understand that their is some serious social planning going on. Very much like the "breeding" broods of Syria, the Chinese males will be looking to take many an Eastern Slavic bride...

This is about survival and breeding a unity through the bottom up. This is the number one way the Eurasia express will be built.

Re: At the 30:08 mark

I will Definitely have to listen.

Cohen has never mentioned the US Dollar/petro dollar reserve system as a motivation for the Ukraine actions.  I thought that perhaps this was because Cohen is not an economist and background isn't in the financial realm.  Perhaps he's connecting the dots now.

Its the same with military men. (I know this from personal experience.)  They tend to look at the world through the lens of military history and strategy. And when all you're given is a hammer, - every problem is seen as a nail.  When in, I didnt have a clue about how economic and financial methods are used to run the world. Wasn't even on my radar screen.

21:00 Why doesn't US welcome Russian help fighting ISIS?

Batchelor and Cohen tiptoe around this.

It seems to me ISIS is the CIA's creature, given the armaments we left in Iraq and captured in Libya, brought in to take down Assad since the poison gas scam didn't work well enough to enable the more direct cruise missiles the CIA wanted.  We read complaints from airmen that they are acting as the ISIS air force, and supply drops accidentally end up in  ISIS's hands.

The US can't welcome Russian help in stopping ISIS because it might actually be effective!

Cohen Seems Sincere . . .

He's bringing up topics which no one else is mentioning & its getting out to a broader audience. He's gotten flak for this. But, IMO he still is locked into a limited viewpoint of the situation.

He thinks the US may not want Russian fighter aircraft in Syria because of dangers of them running into American aircraft. (Yet, in operations against Iraq, vastly larger numbers of allied aircraft from many nations seemed to co-ordinate with each other just fine.)  He also speculates that the US doesnt want the Russians to get any positive press for fighting ISIS. - - Hmmmmm . . . no mention of US aircraft running support missions to help overthrow Assad. No look at a map and the various pipeline routes in the region. He did at least mention Russia getting out of the US dollar, but I don't think he said anything about it as the 'reserve currency' and he definitely didn't use the term 'petrodollar'. He posted the opinion that it seems 'puzzling' that the US wouldnt recognize the sensibility of the Russian view on the various 'color revolutions'. That is, - that such movements have only brought violence & instability. Has he not read Zbigniew Brzezinski - 'The Grand Chessboard" ?  Regional instability is the whole point and objective. Control of Central Asia is key to 'The Great Game' of controlling the world.

Cohen also mentioned, in an earlier interview, that he voted for Obama . . . twice.  Whatever. The whole false 'left' versus 'right' notion is a fraud IMO, but it seems Cohen still believes in a lot of conventional falsehoods.  I find his interviews interesting, but it seems the man still drinks a half glass of the Kool-Aid.

Of course, its also possible that he's just being careful about what he says. Impossible to know, unless you're a mind reader.

Petro Dollar and Yuan

I saw that the other day as well. And it got me to thinking. Why would anyone buy a future's contract on the Shanghai Exchange vs any other Exchange in the World ? If all you're ultimately doing is trading pieces of paper with dead freemasons vs dead commies....what's the difference ? What's the incentive ? Unless of course you had a method to redeem the contract in something a little more tangible. Hmmmmmmmm......that might cause a lot of Global investors to say maybe I don't want these pieces of paper with dead freemasons after all. And I don't want those Commies either. But I'll certainly take something tangible for them.

I have six charts on my screen at home.  ES, USD/JPY, EUR/USD, GC, CL, SI.

My 4 year old son had just woken up from a nap.  I call the charts "watching snakes".

So I asked him, where he thought he snakes would travel next.  Would they travel up or down.

He looked at the snakes and said "Daddy, those snakes are all the same"

Our market has devolved into something that even a child can see.

This next leg down in equities will have people pissing themselves, and I can't fucking wait to watch it.

The Russians are increasing the size of their nuclear submarine fleet at the same time we are reducing. These Russian subs are being deployed.

Not since the Cuban Missile Crisis has the world been this close to World War III. The events are leading the superpowers to put their military assets in close proximity to each other. All that is needed is a spark. Willl Assad of Syria become the modern day Arch Duke?

The Continuing Chain of Provacative Events Leading to World War III

The chain of events are well known: China launches a sell off of it currency causing the dollar to lose value. Four chemical plants in China have been destroyed since that move.

In a show of force, Chinese naval ships entered U.S. territorial waters off of Alaska last week, coming within 12 miles of the coastline, stated multiple defense officials. China has also sailed significant naval assets into the Bay of Bengal in order intimidate India to remain within the sphere of influence of the BRICS of which China is one of two leaders along with Russia.

According to the sources of The Common Sense Show,  Russian troops are competing their preparations to arrive in Syria in an attempt to take on the CIA, in which everyone in the know realizes is sponsored by the CIA. According to former Special Operations Forces officer , Scott Bennett, the CIA created ISIS to allow Obama an excuse to boots on the ground in Syria. The plan is working and this is why the Russians are heading Obama off at the pass. Russia will soon have the first super power with boots on the ground in Syria. In the past few days,ISIS forces in the Qadam district of southern Damascus, captured parts of this Syrian district. ISIS is too close to Assad for comfort and as such, the Russians are acting. ALL of my sources feel strongly that this is a likely flash point for the start of World War III.

The crisis in Syria has been a long time coming. It was three years ago, that Obama thought he was going to move into Syria and perpetrating a false flag attack on the rebels using a chemical agent. The world called out Obama and he was forced to use the CIA to create ISIS and make it into the force that it is today. The ISIS beheadings and soon to be terrorism on American soil, are excuses to get the American public to go along with the attacks.

As if it could not get any worse, Russia is mobilizing with its best weaponry around Syria.

The Present Situation

Russia is bleeding the Petrodollar dry by leading the BRIC nations in the purchase of Iranian oil for gold. The same situation is emerging in Europe as Russia is on the verge, either by invasion or by proxy control of Ukraine, of controlling a good portion of energy needs to Europe and being able to bypass the Petrodollar as a means of payment for Russian energy shipments into Europe. Further, Russia has just completed a deal which brings China into the Russian energy sphere of influence. This will eventually culminate in the weakening of NATO and the isolation of the United States both economically and militarily. What does Russia want and what will be its eventual goal? Some believe that Russia wants to occupy the United States and perhaps Putin eventually does, but it is not practical at this particular point of time. Economic attrition and military isolation are Putin’s best friends at this time. After all, the US is in possession of over 2,000 nuclear weapons and 72 nuclear armed submarines which are virtually undetectable. Despite the presence of these American deterrents, do not be lulled into a false sense of security, this cold war will soon turn hot.

The unfolding Russia military strategy is following the Russian leaders from the past.

Did You Know of Stalin’s Secret Plans to Invade Alaska In 1951?

stalinIn 1999, at a conference held at Yale University, previously-secret Russian documents revealed that Russian Dictator Joseph Stalin had undergone extensive planning in preparation to invade North America as early as 1951. The event was one of a series of programs sponsored by the Washington D.C.-based Cold War International History Project (CWIHP), which monitors new documents pertaining to the Cold War. The Yale conference centered on Stalin’s relationship with the United States. These documents, from the Cold War, revealed that Stalin had a definitive plan to attack Alaska in 1951-52 and had undergone major military preparations in anticipation of the invasion. Russia has always considered itself to be landlocked and this served as the major motivation for Russia’s planned incursion which would have given Russia access to good sea ports. Stalin subsequently died and the plans were abandoned, at least temporarily, mostly due to American dominance in nuclear weapons. In 2014, we see the importance of the Heartland Theory in guiding Russian foreign policy with regard to Syria and to some degree, China. The Chinese-Russian energy deal allows Russia access to Chinese ports. Russia is steadfast in its protection of Syria because of the Russian need to use the ports of Tartus and Aleppo. And it is highly likely that once the energy pipelines in Ukraine are secured by Putin, Europe will soon be making seaport concessions to Russia in exchange for Russian based energy shipments. At the beginning of the crisis in Crimea, the first objective of the Russian military was to secure the naval base in Sevastopol. The Russians desire the fleet to grow in support of a new Mediterranean task force created by Russia last year as a move to counter an increase in US naval presence in the Mediterranean. If Ukraine had been allowed to be wooed by Western banksters to join the European Union, Russia’s most important naval force would have been effectively neutered because of the potential loss of Sevastopol as a naval base. The G7 nations may view Putin’s actions in Crimea as being offensive, Putin, no doubt, views the action as a matter of military survival. Again, the Heartland Theory comes into play. The Heartland Theory also came into play during last year’s Syrian crisis as Putin threatened to nuke the United States if it invaded Syria in violation of international law. Syria is critical to the Russians on a number of fronts including the prevalence of Syria’s warm water ports. Syria’s importance to Russia can be condensed to five essential factors:

1. Russia has a naval installation in Syria. The base is vitally important because it is Russia’s last foreign military base outside of the former Soviet Union. Putin is playing a bit of a slight of hand approach by stating they are closing the facility. However, the Russians are maintaining navy technicians and they service their permanent flotilla in the area. This runs in opposition to what the MSM has reported. However, my sources are uniform on this point

2. Russia is moving to further advance the use of the ports at Aleppo and Tartus to facilitate its sea trade.

3. Fortifying Syria provides protection for Iran who is undermining the Petrodollar by selling its oil for gold. This allows Putin to be engaged in an economic war against the dollar and the Federal Reserve.

4. Syria is a military satellite of Russia as Assad continues to buy a high quantity of  Russian military exports, which aids the Russian economy.

And of course, no Russian military option can be considered when it comes to ISIS rampaging across Iraq and Syria. Make no mistake about it, ISIS is a CIA creation fueled by illegally leaving behind American military equipment in Iraq designed for ISIS use. ISIS mission is twofold. The first goal is to unseat Assad in Syria. But the primary goal is for the West to draw Putin into a military conflict starting in Syria in order to topple Syria and Iran and preserve the Petrodollar. In effect, ISIS is Blackwater (i.e. Academia). And the ISIS beheadings is a psyops designed to inflame the American public into accepting the coming World War III.

America’s Options

Control of Ukraine and its gas shipments through the country are the key to swinging the balance of power on the planet. If Ukraine comes under the complete control of the Russians, energy blackmail and the eventual disintegration of NATO will occur. If Russia moves to take over Ukraine, what options does the United States have? It is not likely that at this point in time that NATO has the ability to keep Russia out of Ukraine in the long term without the use of nuclear weapons.

Where is Russia most vulnerable? The clear answer is in Syria. Syria has both economic and military significance to Russia. If Syria were to fall to the United States, the military and economic loss would be catastrophic, not the least, would be the loss of Syrian ports. Russia’s prudent course of action would be to continue to erode the US economy by its relentless attacks upon the Federal Reserve and the Petrodollar. However I do not foresee the Federal Reserve banksters are going to continue to let this happen as the dollar erodes. Subsequently, when Ukraine falls, Syria and probably Iran will be attacked by the United States. The provocation will likely be a false flag event within the United States in which the Syrians are falsely implicated. Why do you think Obama is bringing so many Syrians into the United States?

Remember the Heartland Theory, it also predict the second front of the coming World War III. Along these lines, Putin will also attack Alaska if the United States attacks Syria. This is how a cold war can turn hot in a hurry. If you do not believe me, just ask the Polish as they have begun mobilizing for war. DHS has continually been practicing for an American martial law. Ask yourself, what do these people know that you do not? Again, I want to caution people to stock up on supplies. If a false flag event does occur, your ability to resupply could be seriously imperiled.

Our military high command believes that World War III will begin in Syria as well when Russia comes to the aid of Assad as his forces are toppled. The United States have diverted no significant military assets from the Middle East since the Ukraine crisis began. Do not take your eyes off of Syria.

I can hardly wait for the trolls and the thinly veiled Russian media to attack once again. I am over the target and expect to get more flak from the Russian media. And yes, Russian media, I will come on your shows and the result will be the same as when I appeared on the Voice of Russia in October of 2013. The truth was told about Russian troops training on American soil, a fact that the Russian media wanted to be obscured.

World War III will mostly likely begin in Syria and Assad will likely become

Ruffian's picture

Ok so I don't post here

But this situation has gotten so dangerous I must,

My only credentials are that I played with Arabs as kid and learned their language.

After 911 I was so furious I went online and fought with them and my language skills improved and oh boy did I learn when I began tuning into their media and their language.

They regularly would bring accredited university professors on air to demonstrate mathematically how they would take over Europe. I laughed then but I'm not now. Because I see everything they said coming true.

It's so much insidious than I ever imagined. Putin know the deal and he's not going for it. He is a patriot. After losing his historical allies in the ME, he entered into the only useful area he could and that's Syria. Yes he's been with Iran but he's smart enough to know what every Arab in the world knows. Iran can't be trusted. Russian has enough problems with radical Islamists and doesn't want more.

Meanwhile Obama has been invading sovereign countries for seven years. He tried with Egypt but the Egyptians knew the oldest and most violent and dangerous group in the world is the Muslim brotherhood and they shed blood to remove Obamas boy. Then quadaffi the best and most benign of all Arab leaders the USA had no leverage with. Cuz he built his infrastructure off the sweetest most reliable crude in the world. He never borrowed one cent and brought water to 75% of his desert land. That and provided health care, schooling and stipends to his people without borrowing a dime. Then he knew he was getting hosed with USA printed presses and would only take gold for crude payment. Furthermore, the he wanted the 17% of Italy's entire gold stock owned by him returned and poof he's dead.

Now we have millions of Muslim men ready to invade the west and what shall they do? Sure blow up a few things but that's not the plan. They will breed with western women. I've seen too many times first hand how western women are vulnerable to ME sweet tongues. Obama himself is an example. The vast majority of Arab men speak like him. Appealing to your moral character and empathy.

I said years ago what the plan was. Destroy Israel and take over Mecca. Meanwhile thee only effective fighting force against ISIL is the Kurds. And Obama won't arm them. How is it the USA cannot hit ISIL arsenal stockpiles? Now after starting who knows how many tribal and civil wars he's sent fighter planes for Ergodan to use to kill Kurds. These are the people who have taken in ancient Christian sect like the Assyrians and Chaldeans and many lesser and are protecting them. The unarmed Kurds that is. They are bleeding for xtains and Obama is going to over see their extinction.

So wait till we pull out of Afghanistan. The Pakistanis are thee most fanatics Muslims on earth. They make whabbis look tame. They will murder the Tajiks.

Ask yourself why are our vets treated so poorly and why is immigration out of control. The answer is simple. Old vets are useless and can't produce they consume. While immigrants are young, healthy and breeding.

I don't care if you laugh. This isn't crap I've read cuz I can barely read anyway, it's stuff I've heard them talking about and I thought they were nuts as you likely will think I am. And that's a ok cuz I hope I'm wrong, I hope it ends up with people laughing at me. Rather than seeing Americans end up as dead peasants and in gulags.

Oh and one more thing Russian always wanted a pipeline thru Afghanistan..... It was the true basis for their original invasion.

Of course there is much more to this"...... But beware of what really is happening. Forget all you know and hear. The thing about ME is that they say exactly outright what they are going to do. Never believe any Arab unless he addresses his own people in his own tongue.

Edit: as I wrote this I was listening to LBC that's Lebanese broadcast Chanel and my other favorite from Ramallah in Palestine and they are laughing.....salivating, licking their chops....on how beautiful things are going.
