A Weekend Snippet

With all that's going on in the world, if ever there was a time for some shameless self-promotion...well that time is now.

Of all of the "Vaulting" benefits, it's these daily podcasts that seem to be appreciated the most by subscribers. Every day, I bang out a 20-25 minute, completely unscripted recap of the days events, complete with updated charts and links to articles subscribers may have missed while they lived their busy lives. Because we are currently witnessing such extraordinary world events, I thought this weekend would be an excellent time to promote this service by issuing this snippet from today's podcast.

This is only first eight minutes of what became a 29-minute presentation. (When Turd gets excited, he sometimes gets a little carried away and loses track of time.) If you want to hear the rest, you'll need to subscribe...BUT...remember, it's just $10/month or about 35¢ per day. Besides the daily podcasts, subscribers also receive:

  • Daily updates with charts and price forecasts for the metals and anything else that catches my eye. (Currently I'm watching NatGas and Crude pretty closely.)
  • Weekly webinars with industry BigWigs where subscribers get to ask the questions.
  • And, most importantly, a 50¢ discount on the first 20 TFMR rounds purchased each month. If you're doing what you claim to be doing...stacking and preparing for The End of The Great Keynesian Experiment...then this discount basically "pays for" the cost of your subscription.

So, please consider joining in on the fun in The Vault. Understand, though, that this is NOT an appeal for subscribers. We're already well into the four figures so its not as if the site is failing. Everything is coming along just fine. But you really should join us in The Vault. I stood virtually alone in calling The Double Bottom in the metals back in December (http://www.tfmetalsreport.com/blog/5295/courage-and-conviction) and now 2014 is shaping up to be an extraordinarily interesting year. For crying out loud, your $10/month Vault subscription pays for itself if you're truly stacking physical each month, so, let's get busy! You can learn more and sign up by clicking here:

Have a great weekend but be ready for a crazy week next.

Why again ????

Why do I again feel so giddy ???? Each time there is a large smack in the S+P I get a feeling of excitement. Could it be that maybe finally there will be some truth and reality injected into these crazy markets and that our long period of suffering is about to change ? Unfortunately it will likely usher in increased suffering and tremendous tumult yet I feel good about it. Everything seems so screwy.

Big thanks to Turd and all the family here for keeping us grounded. Gotta love a weekend freebie.

Peace and Love

Fireworks Next Week - FEB Gold FND, Fellen & Bernanke Antics

Turd's Vault is well worth the time and funds.  I'm pretty frugal with my funds and this is the only subscription service I'm willing to fork over currency for.   Lots of great market commentary and the Access to Access guests are top notch!  The daily podcasts really help tie all the pertinent gold related news together!

And you should hear his impersonations!  Priceless!

On the stock boards, boy was it nice to see the HUI "hang in there" to close a real strong week.  With options expiration and first day notices coming next week, along with Bernanke and Fellen Yellen making an appearance, it will probably bring lots of fireworks.

With February being a DELIVERY MONTH, we'll be counting down the days watching FEB COMEX GOLD open interest to see how many are still around on Friday for FND.  Never a dull moment in the gold market.

Should the NFL be allowed to keep its non-profit status?

Turd...nice podcast!  Is it time to go non-profit? Snippet from USA Today.

The NFL will generate about $9 billion in revenue this year, although it is a tax-exempt, non-profit organization. This has been the case since the 1960s when a deal was cut with Congress during the NFL-AFL merger.

Although common sense says the law should be ended, it's not as bad as it seems. Why? Take a look at the video to see Sports editor Peter Barzilai's full answer to this reader question. He also explains the fight to change the law. Find out how that battle is going for Sen. Tom Coburn in Congress.

To Anyone Considering Joining The Vault.. A Testimonial

I have been on board since it was first rolled first as a subscription service this past summer. The thing that I have found so beneficial that I never expected was Turds overall market analysis each and every day.  His perspective and contrarian calls on the Ten Year, Gold Bottoming, COT analysis are just many of the subscriber value he brings. I'm to the point as many Turdites that listening to his daily podcast has been something I look forward to each day. In addition the threads and community on this site are second to none and all share one common theme. Members tend to have a deep understanding of markets and are looking for more than what you can get just randomly surfing the internet. Lastly if you want someone to summarize all the days highlights in the metals sector but dont have the time. Let Turd do the work for you each and every business day.... The fee he charges is a steal compared to other website subscribtion fees that other websites offer which are much more expensive with much less content...

One lucky new vault member will recieve ounce of gold

I mean info and analysis that is WORTH  an ounce of  gold.

that is at today's price maybe not next years price for an ounce of gold !

To subscribe or not to subscribe?

I've paid a lot more for other advisory services in the past and received less (a hell of a lot less) compared to what Turd delivers, it's as simple as that.

Indeed, long time.  Been hiding my head under the pillow, trying not to look...but no crying !  Things heating up again, maybe.  Lots of fun news out there for us long time sufferers.  Last I remember you were working out a hideaway for yourself and close ones.  I hope you got things squared away.  How are them Hawks doing ?  Heck, now I'm remembering a bit better, they took the cup last year didn't they.  Hope you had some good seats !  I'll be hangin around on occasion and catch up with you on some of your posts.  Hang tough ombre.

Best ten Bucks you'll spend all week

The podcasts are something I enjoy every day, keeps me sharp and on top of everything - plus, It's honestly great to celebrate great days and runs like this one with your friends who get what we have to be excited about! Nobody else I know would even get it..  Community is a valuable thing and keeps me grounded and seeing the field more clearly.

plus, there is no national commentator on the planet I would trade for our Turd to navigate the madness this thing could be developing into. Entertaining and his podcasts are crucial to understanding movements and the forces behind them

We could be in for wild and fun times- you will not regret that ten bucks... But you will miss being on the outside of the party!  Join your friends, have a ball, make some fiat and stack some shiny!  I LOVE this place.

BTW-  I've got a story ready for my post Monday that I can't wait to get out there-  this is fun, fascinating, sometimes maddening and always interesting stuff to talk about and learn from- join the fun !

Also of note is the fact that

Also of note is the fact that trolls don't pay money to troll.  As a result, the comment section of the vault has far less garbage than other threads.  The posts there tend to be of much higher quality.

I subscribed for the podcasts, but just having a troll free comment section is worth it.

Nice Tease, Pining, Can't Wait!

Me, I was at an oil refinery today, doing a walking inspection of the facility.  My client had some bad things happen, and a tour of the refinery was required.

The refinery was big, smelly, dangerous, but fascinating.

I desperately wanted to be on Tfmr reading and sharing, but oh well . .

I felt like this guy, when I saw the excitement about to unfold in the markets, but had to leave for the refinery, I was looking forward to some radical price moves.  Alas, not to be.  Anyhow, here is the commercial I was thinking of:

TF, I am surprised!

Let's fasten in and await next week, it will be epic.

Vault insight

To any contemplating whether Turd's Vault is worth joining let me tell you it's the best $10 you could spend.

In a world where central bankers have created a reality akin to 'Alice in Wonderland' you need wisdom and insight to discern the truth so you can understand what is really going on and make informed decisions.

Turd disseminates and dissects all the information and presents it in an easy to understand, personable and often humorous format. Importantly he is one of the few guys out there who totally 'gets it' and fully appreciates the breadth and depth of the forces at work.

Not only is the podcast the most informative part of my day it is also one of the more enjoyable. In terms of bang for your buck there is no comparison.

Now, more than ever, is the time to be fully informed and empower yourself with knowledge. Turd's Vault will do that for you.

Vault Comment

It is not a lot of money, to many people, but to others it may be.

I have found that a big value to Vault Membership is the TurdCasts (what a visual), or podcasts.

It is one thing to read what someone writes, but to hear Turd explain it really drives the message home. Spoken words are so much stronger than written words, even when spoken in some weird accent wink

There is also no way the information can be delivered typed.

Seriously, well worth the yearly membership fee and likewise the monthly!

Thank you Turd

great investment

I store $10 of my hard earned cash in Turd's vault every month, and even though I never expect to get it back (I'm sure Turd is rehypothecating it ;^), unlike the German's, I consider it one of the best investments I have ever made! On top of that, again, unlike the German's, I get to enter the vault whenever I like, and I always like what I find there! You wouldn't believe the nuggets I've been walking away with!

50 cents

50 cents a day that the market opens - I grew up with fairly strict, rigorous parents, born in 1916 - a couple and their parents who believed in the power of compounding interest and savings - my parents were old school.  In many ways (some that I only recently realized) those principles rubbed off.  My sister and I inherited their small estate and me?, I invested in the safest and most responsible cache that I came to know - gold and precious metal equities.  In fact I started to buy gold at about 1750, with bits and pieces in small increments thereafter - to my detriment.  Discovery of Turd's website and being a subscriber has served to inform and stoke my abject hatred for the Keynesians, for Bernanke and for the quack Krugman.  I've come to realize the suffocating corruption that is Wall Street - and I find that those ideals of what may have seemed the 'simple life' of my parents are in stark opposition to the contemporary morality of today's financial realm.  The bold faced irony of my need for an American (worldwide?)  financial collapse so that my parents principles of saving for a rainy day does not escape me.  The excitement today to see the Dow douse 300 points is luxurious and sad all at once.  TFMR and the insight that Turd provides help me sleep at night.  If I only knew a few years earlier I wouldn't have so many wrinkles now!

Nice post....You sum up how many of us feel.

I also feel vindicated when the stock market falls off  a cliff.

....It is an interesting juxtaposition - I loath progressive/Keynesian beliefs, yet  - I am invested in the stock market, yet prefer tangibles.

I get the email updates from my Father's investment guru and always look forward to his spin on the market when it is down.

Yesterday he wrote about underlying fundamentals including higher GDP, manufacturing resurgence, green shoots, etc. He also acknowledged China growth slowing and Fed tapering, yet believes both are minor obstacles and will be trumped as the stock market will continue to rise over the next 2-5 years within the current cycle.

He plays the game of raising cash when markets fall and buying back in for the next rally. I can play that game too, its just that I would prefer converting 20-30% stock market returns into PMs.

Marcus's picture

The most for the least

What I should have said, and will say now, is that while AT&T may promise the most for the least, Turd actually delivers.

Dr Jerome's picture

2nd!

I second Down Range's comment that "Spoken words are so much stronger than written words, even when spoken in some weird accent." Its not just information that Turd presents in the podcast, it is the passion, attitude, and a hundred other ways we communicate what we really mean nonverbally. His Eric King impersonation was worth the year's subscription. Hearing him rip the manipulators after an egregious event provides catharsis for me by hearing the disgust I am feeling expressed intelligently and passionately and knowing the rest of turdville is hearing it. Otherwise I get constipated with anger, frustration, and feeling helpless.

And silver is on sale all weekend until Sunday night. I like 1200 gold, but 1270 gold is the next best thing. How many timed did you say you wished you had bought more back in 2011 when the bullish run was in full force?

After Only A Week Or So

On Turds paid subscription site I have Learned a lot. I have been sitting on the sidelines for a while receiving his e-mails but I just couldn't justifying paying a subscription for anything.

Well I heard Turd speaking on a video a few weeks back and he said something concerning the minors that made that made me start thinking as they are of interest to me at the moment and as a firm Physical Stacker of PM's I needed all the help I could get as I'm not into the Paper Game and have always been against it' ( But Not Now, I Just Bought Some Shares NGD laugh Here that 4 oz?) Yea I even found some fellow Stackers on here that I have know for years.laugh

anyway I joined Turds over a week ago and much to my surprise this guy is actually online most of the time and communicating with his subscribers on his site and giving his opinion and thoughts. Now I've been on a lot of sites and belonged to a few sites and this has never happened. It really makes you feel you belong to something.

Also another thing, Turd sounds to me like a well organized guy and full of life, humor  and wanting to honestly help people like I do, so for 5 oz's of Silver right now you will get a lot of info for your Silver. Lol Actually Turd that would be another way to pay for your subscription as a lot of Stackers are All In.

Remember down the road we Stackers will need to know what to do with our Stacks and this is one great place to learn.

Thanks, Charlie (marchas45)
