Yes, it was a classic fat-fingered email from Joeka.
Not as devastating though as my and NCOT's fat
headed trades........

meant to say 4 figs in 5 mins. LOL!
to make 5 figs in 5 mins, i'd need to buy 8x the volume and while I could do that, I don't wanna go out in a blaze of stupidityfied glory.
the forum is loading extremely slowly on my iPad and PC now...and earlier it didn't allow me to edit my posts.
kinda weird. like me i guess.
Had to tip my hat to that!
I love it when Hi-Ho Silver posts... brightens up my screen.... ![]()
Hi Ho is so right...Zzzzzzz
Which is exactly what i'm gonna do now.
So goodnight all. TGIF soon! :)
JoeKa out
Nite JoeKa...
might catch ya on the over night shift...
NCOT wassup! I see Atlee and JoeKa and all my favorite posters are in Pailins corner - Cool! Should have known... got lost on the new website a few times ...HUGE explosion of information going on. I don't even think Turd could have guessed how much content this website will eventually encompass or at least how quickly it would happen - wow!!! Hats off to Turd - what a rare human being this guy is!
Any way just wanted to say hi - let you know I was eavesdropping...

Great job JoeKa, you're taking risks I can't right now. Please...continue to lead the way until my personal "season 'o chickensh!t" passes.
Man, is silver stuck in a rut or what? I guess it's the silver wedgie in progress.... but after the wedgie, will it go up or drown?

Patience Kiwi, patience. This thing is winding up for glory. Just step away if you're watching too much. That's what I've been doing.
Good and bad parts of the large site...
One thing I can see are little Cliques forming.. so the like of me, Joeka, pailin, atlee, Tesla etc, basically those who always had a rapore on the old site, will hang together.
Others who are fans of other sectors will hang in theirs.
The good part is you can always drift into another section and hopefully learn something you didn't know before... unless they get too cliquey and chase you out...
Just my POV....
Yep, good advice..... I have a very, very small ZSL position, which makes me interested without worrying about the outcome.
I certainly hope that it doesn't trade sideways all summer (though it is starting to look that way) I have sep call and a put for protection. figured I could make some dough either way as long as it breaks one way or another, but it looks like it is range bound 34-38 for awhile. hope i am wrong!!!
Sorry NCOT, JOEKA, nothing personal, you know that
.
But , we must always and at all times remain our own
biggest critics, otherwise we soon become prey to 'easy come,
easy go' syndrome. So, even when things start to go really well
for us, that will be a time for maximum vigilance.
Ok, as a punishment for me playing the fool earlier, I'll now
briefly talk diamonds, an interesting and quite viable altern-
ative to the metals. Diamond miners have recently changed their slogan :
'Diamonds Are Not Forever'. Quite simply, diamonds are formed
appx 200 miles below ground, under intense heat and pressure, then
transported to surface in a type of rock known as kimberlite.
Whats interesting is that only one in ten kimberlites are diamond-
iferous, and only one in ten of those are sufficiently diamondiferous
to have any chance of becoming economic mines. My general plan
here is to make people more aware of natural resources and their
extraction, because in a world of very fast depleting reserves and
simultaneous increase in affluence - creating greater demand for all this
stuff- natural resources are going to be where the real action is, not in
Banks or Insurance stocks, I believe. I also am a great believer in Canada
as a wonderful place to invest in terms of minimal political risk. You-tube
has some very interesting videos about Canadian diamond exploration, and
the main mines in current production are Ekati and Diavik. What will be very
interesting will be the potential price increases in these stones as the mines
steadily deplete, although there are small mining companies such as Peregrine
Diamonds and Olivut which do have some chance of establishing mines which
are economic. These are above averagely risky investments however, and although
the returns could be spectacular everything is on hold until the s and p makes its
intentions clear. The safer alternative may be to instead invest in real stones.
The good part is you can always drift into another section and hopefully learn something you didn't know before...
That's what I like. Not into corn futures, canned bacon and musty gold coins right now but I really like knowing it's all there when I'm ready.
I dare Eric#1 to try to kick me out :)
Just wanted to stop in, I have been hanging out since before Turd #1 bottom, mostly read, not post. But wanted to say, I will hang here mostly, have been following you guys and your trades. I am both gold and silver, focus on producers for 2 years. Thanks for your insights.
BM (my tribute to Turd)
I'm doubtful catching up on many MANY weekends is even possible as the content is flooding in faster than ANYONE can possibly read it all! Go0ggles algo's are probably even gonna be overwhelmed! Pretty cool - many generous givers of wisdom. What you said "Let's all try to keep giving more than we take!"
-Keep teaching me stuff and I promise to share it with everyone (mostly people who aren't interested it often seems)-

My concern with diamonds is my impression that most of the market price is jewelry demand and artificial De Beers (aka Rothschild) supply bottleneck. Seems like it's already been manipulated and could be even moreso, likely to my personal detriment :) I could be very wrong, haven't investigated deeply at all. But with global economic slowdown (industrial demand destruction) are we only talking about billionaires trading bags of stones with other billionaires in the future?
Used to stand in the corner a lot when I was a kid, I'm happy to be in this one!
By the way, where are all those jerks that maligned me when I said XAG was going back to 35s a few weeks back on the old site? Suckas :)
(but know I love you all)

I'm really impressed with the participation here in the new space, there were clearly a lot more lurkers in the old space than I realized. I can't keep up..and that's a good thing..what weekends are for :)
Let's all try to keep giving more than we take!
