Is anyone else seeing this for Silver? Can't determine the neckline properly. Volume is iffy too.
Rangebound but on the upper end obviously?
Pailin's Trading Corner
that is the explanation given all the time but its much, much bigger than that.
those COT numbers are massaged anyway they want it anyway. Why would they fudge numbers across the entire economy on a daily basis since the arch criminal Greenspan took the helm and not do the same with 'COT'.
beleive me, they ain't worried about COT, they have all that under control.
They hand out free money every Tuesday to banksters, I just don't know the mechanism of the racketeering operation on Sinatra Day is all.

edit: the red line is his prediction, I do not know if it will turn out true, he is quick changing his mind. I just want to show the inverse H&S joeka was saying.
Chaps I keep reading about the impending drop of doom for Au down to the low 1500's is this realistic or is asking even realistic in this loony tunes of a market. At present I am holding long but the temptation to bail at 1640 and wait for the drop is making my ass itch.. Any thoughts to share that might help ease the indecision
Cheers J... :) Seems the R3 might have had its moment for the day the fight is on for R2
We might be more useful than we think..:)
43.50-26 = 1st big impulse wave down.
bounce to 35.50.
subtract 17.50 from 35.50 = final down impulse leg equivalent to 1st down impulse leg possible target of 18.
All PTC troops have had an opportunity to engage and kill the enemy...
I am in "letting-them-run" mode.
Anyone see Cramer's article on miners today? As always, perfect contrarian timing from the kooky bald guy.
NGD and NUGT bought yesterday (and damn near sold in AH) proved timely. You just can't beat this Tuesday pattern.
Some highly leveraged trades and a ramp up in the oils (since sold) have now completely restored the losses incurred in Dec. trading.
2012 is looking good, folks. Miners doing what they are supposed to do: outperform the metal.
Days like today are made for the NUGT

In requoting Turd: "We can game this pattern and absolutely no one will notice."
Granny distributing some EXK,CDE,GDX,Sivr, sgol,DBA into Sinatra Day morning woodie.
I also bought some NUGT yesterday with the idea of a Turnaround Tuesday.....
Typically these following days have leaned down. Should be very, very interesting to see if the banksters break the mold on this pattern and continue to run the Spy.
I do not expect it. Target for S&P is 1298 off a 3 wave up pattern. Rest, bloating, digestion, gas probably for rest of week. Same for GDX as it tracks the same.
Dollar fell out of its bull flag after breaking out to upside. Now its back in its base and can bounce from there on 'news' massaged by Hoods.
If thing continues bullish thru the week it will break the old weekly trend of last year of selling off into Thurs-Friday and that will be a Tell.
boy i can hope i pick the right tell. i'm looking at a list of about 12 and they're all very soft spoken.
I am going to call today's high at 30.88.
On a risky play, I've added -- and hugely-- to my LNG holdings at average price of 8.56. We'll see. Tight stop.
SW, you see UNG? No bottom to it. I'm done adding and throwing overboard. Hands above my head: I give up on UNG.
About UNG what can I say? Chris Walken has the answer I think:
IMO Its an EURUSD short covering squeeze.
predicted to last until maybe Thursday, how far up it can take the metals with it is anybody's guess, but I wouldn't expect them to keep going
Good old Stolper keeps his 100% record though :)
although our Granny is few years senior, she has a rather quick brain.
I get dizzy watching her flip those miners, so you are not alone. :)
Someone was quoted in Barron's to the effect that UNG would be a back up the truck play when/if NG hits 2.8. Worth a look, anyway...
Granny will buy S&P on dips until it hits target 1298. Good probability and its Governement Sponsored so not subject to chaotic Bi-Polar disorder of metals. Using SSO for this. TNA is too volatile for such an old lady as myself.
UNG is cratering for one primary reason. The Weather.
Unseasonably warm in Midwest and NorthEast this year. Demand is down.
And there always has to be at least one big Turkey in the port as a sacrifice to the Gods.
