2 things I bet.
1. an announcement of money printing under a different name is at hand or some announcement of magnitude pulled out of the lower orifice of the Central Politburo
2. a New Year reversal, bate and switch. An old reliable pattern dies, its reverse is introduced. Remember that they DESTROYED the metals on the 1st or 2nd day of trading last year after a big,big bullish runup in the month of December.
The Euro / Dollar must be de-coupling from the previous trends. I am not sure yet what the new indicators will be BUT, we need to find it fast!
Don't look now, but LNG is breaking out of a short-term consolidation. The little fucker runs like hell, usually 7-9%. Watch the channel and give it a whirl.

I bought FAZ a few weeks ago at 44, and then again a week later at 37. Then I saw that article on Zero Hedge that said FAZ only loses people money. I was hoping for a market selloff that would take it to 50+. That was dumb.
Should I just get out of FAZ and take the losses?
I will guess that that was the top of the dollar today and everyone who is connected knows it.

Based upon the LOOK of the move in silver and gold from the larger chart, this seems like it is the 5th wave already . .. but the internal structure on the smaller time frames do not lend support to that notion. I will review it again tonight.
The 5 count on the previous chart I posted looks like the low was the 5 and the Bull is about to be released from the shed?
SPY impulsing up. If it takes out 1280 it goes to 1298 which means that miners go considerably higher on this leg up.
Will be watching this level closely and looking for a way to ride it up in SSO and the miners and Silver.
S&P in a straight up move that is impulsive has just taken out 7 previous pivots. The major one coming is 1280.75. That goes and we could well run and run imo. This also marks the first week of a New Year which is very bullish since the first week often leaves tread marks on the year. Laying rubber on the road now.
Grannie's GTO is fired up, the tank will be topped soon and the checkered flags are almost down. I love how these Bankster Fockers bait and switch, buy what was just sold the week before and try and sneak out of Dodge in broad daylight without farting or leaving any kind of trail. This is the sleaziest crowd I have ever known in this brief life.
The quicker this flies up in the face of bearish predictions, the more rapid the pullback.

My guess is Asia will take heed of the Euro and punish silver/gold overnight. Keep in mind the normal trends are off due to the holiday on Monday and light volume. This may be a set up for Terrible Thursday on Friday ??? Beware here. That Euro signal is screaming.
JFTR I'm in ZSL here, 3/4 position. I'm .16 under water per share right now, but will hold through to next Tuesday if need be. No rush selling on this one, but I'm not married to it either.
Also JFTR, when I get over 1/2 a position it usually hurts....contra-indicator for you longs to hang a hat on.
