A Master List: "The Case for Prepping"
I'd like to ask your help in preparing a master list of must-read internet links (websites and/or articles) that I can gather and email to friends/family ... high impact "evidence" that I can combine with my own commentary on the times we're facing, and what I'm doing to prepare. Yeah, I could spend hours with Google doing this homework, but I figure I'll produce a better list/resource if I solicit a group of like-minded people.
Keep in mind, many of these people I'm targeting are simply ignorant/not paying attention, or are of the "it'll never happen in America" mindset - whether it's financial collapse or collapse of our highly-convenient food chain.
Additions to this thread should focus on news, facts and commentary regarding: economic conditions and "collapse", food shortages/prices, and all the other ridiculous crap that might potentially lead to SHTF, TEOTWAWKI, ETC. There's already a "supplies" thread going here, so no need duplicate that info. Let's stick to the "WHY" instead of the "HOW".
