This rings true in many ways.

Example: Member X posts chart of silver correcting to $0 with various objective data to support it. Member Y calls Member X a "troll" cause it hurts his feewings cause he's full on emotionally invested to his coins and those nasty "TA's" threaten his love affair. An e-fight breaks out. Member Z, who's been around longer than everyone and think's he's hot shit takes Member Y's back. So does someone else that rarely posts but decides to now cause noone likes them nasty "trolls." Then the peace keepers show up: "common, can't we all get along?!" Then the nOOB's ask "hey, can silver really go to -$6?? I'm scared!" Member Z says, "of course not, this guy's an idiot." And the clusterfuck continues.

There are more examples and they're endless.

If Turdville is to survive it needs members from all walks of life, with all kinds of opinions, with all kinds of ideas, with unique things to share that all come together and share it with each other. It's not about making everyone happy; that's impossible. It's about having a vision, a mission, a solid TOS, strict moderation to enforce it. That holds true for the nOOBs who don't know any better but ALSO the veterans who should know better. I say this without reservation as I've seen it happen over and over and over,  the minute, check that, the SECOND it becomes a circle-jerk of ego stroking, locker room ass-slapping, good ole boys club fuckery, those that seek all those great things will be gone because.....there's nothing to offer but some guy in a big funny hat and his Sharpie talking to a bunch of blind clowns.

There is, in fact, a group of people on this site who are "huddled in a corner" thinking of ways to flame or cause trouble, and we do know who some of them are. A group of people who think they are better than everyone else, and yet by and large create most of the negativity here. And that is the "high school" element on this website. Not the people calling them out on their BS.

BTW...please stop insulting women in your posts. The fact is, MOST of the assholes on this site, the ones who cause the most problems and drama, are MEN (or BOYS). NONE of the people who have been banned from the site (except spammers) have been women. NONE of them. But I've seen plenty of guys here go off on total temper tantrums when they don't get their way. Is this because men are more emotionally fragile than women and can't handle disagreement on a website? Maybe it's as simple as there are more men here than women?

Either way, I'm sure you can come up with a more creative insult than one that puts down the very fine women who are here on the site. 

Interesting. Why would you even be concerned about this at all, if there isn't any "group" to be concerned about? 

Put it this way - anyone who sends PMs on this or any other website, and presumes that what they are talking about is somehow private or privileged, is naive at best. 

a) You never know who you are PMing and whether you can trust them.

b) Anyone with heightened privileges on a website has access to the *entire database.* The only thing that is encrypted in the database are your passwords. This doesn't just apply here, it applies to any online forum you are on.

So don't assume if you are PMing someone that it won't be forwarded or shared with someone else. Here or anywhere. Period.

BTW - Threats, harassment, attempts to "expose," ridicule, or otherwise retaliate against another concerned user who has complained about the behavior of others will get your account shut off. If you hadn't already noticed, we've shown an extreme amount of tolerance for people on all sides of this issue, given that the group in question is still here and not kicked off, but if I find out someone is being personally targeted over this, my patience will reach its ending point and people will get booted. Capiche?

I saw this post as a potentially very trollish, low move by an otherwise longstanding member with some decent contributions in the past. IMHO it had no place on the main board. This thread was the first and biggest in the Fight Club section of the forums, and I figured if further dissecting were needed, it could happen here.

I did not simply delete it because I did not want to also nix the rest of the conversations that followed, and completely chop up the rest of the thread.

Also please note it is not so much the underlying opinion of the poster that was objectionable. It was what in my estimation was a complete lack of respect towards the site, its contributors and its host in the MANNER in which said opinion was expressed.
