All about the physical

My family owns and operates a small time fine silver bullion foundry and refinery. Our inventory has been very difficult to keep fully stocked due to heavy demand. So I wanted to start a thread related to the physical bullion market. How is supply in your local markets, coin shops and bullion dealers? Are your dealers able to keep fully stocked up or are they hurting for inventory? Is there inventory overstocked? Are they putting stuff on sale? How are the physical prices where you live? We do our best to keep the prices reasonable but supply and demand are telling me to jack it up! What do you guys think?

My favorite place to sell

My favorite place to sell locally (I buy most of mine online, only sell when I overbuy or unexpected expenses come around) just got shut down because some companies made a few big orders for bullion with him, but then he got robbed (he claims), and he turns out to have been uninsured.

That leaves me with one dedicated dealer in town that I like.  This is why you should always and only deal in CASH, not CREDIT when you are acting as a money changer.  Those men who placed those orders were fools.

Necessary

Well, taking credit is necessary in this business. But the difference there is insurance. I would hate to be uninsured against that type of theft... kind of dumb if you ask me. Anyhow I hope you bought the frick'n dip people. I sure as heck did. Whew. Physical market is still comfortably above spot (thanks to the cartel.) But still a good time to buy as the thing hasn't bounced all the way back up yet. Get them while they're hot people. Supplies are slim... to say the least.

Hey Wheeler

Went to your website.  Your hand poured silver bars are beautiful!  When I get my next shipment of cash from the old 401k I'm gonna order some for sure.  .  .

Hey Thanks =]

My Brother and I work our fingers to the bone on that stuff so that is nice to hear I must say. We are trying to offer something to the silver bullion community that is high quality and unique, while trying to keep our prices reasonable. Only problem is that we are still pretty small time, And due to the short supplies and increased demand it is tough to keep our shelves fully stocked. Anyhow, thanks again.

Silver Supplier Wanted

And by the way... We are looking for a silver supplier. We need 90%+ and are willing to pay 93% of spot. Let me know if you are looking to unload and don't want to pay the seller fees on Ebay or the assay charge for Silvertowne or other big time dealers like that.
