Hey Turds, a friend has some land in Nevada, looking for a Geologist to come asses the land and its mineral deposits. Any ideas?

Hey everyone,

A friend of mine has some land out in Nevada, and he wanted to get some tests ran, or whatever is needed to determine if there is any silver/gold etc available for mining. His family runs a very large real estate development firm, and they have the means to move forward if sufficient deposits are found.

He doesn't know how to go about it, and he wasn't sure where to go for information. Is a geologist the way to go, or should he be looking up a different profession?

Does anyone have experience developing new land for a mine, or at least the exploration and analysis stages?
