Bayfield.......good drill results........takeover candidate?
Another example of pretty good drill results, and wow, look at all that silver, with silver like that their cost on the gold will be negative. Bayfield will get taken out by Rainy River probably or both of them by someone else, I give it two years.

One of my biggest mistakes, I got in in the Fall of 2009 @ .11 and sold in the mid-thirties.  Should have followed the tried and tested rule of just selling half when it doubled.

Congrats to all those who held this stock before today, it is up 66% today, if you were in before today I'd recommend taking some off the table, but I wouldn't be taking new positions or chasing this stock.

A good example of why owning stocks with low outstanding shares can be worthwhile, when they pop they really pop!

Bayfield

Hi MrG. I've got 5000 shares in my IRA account and have been following it for a while now. DCA is around .50.

I think I'll hold for now. Stellar results for sure!

I'm curious what led you to such an obscure company, more so for you in the US then us mine crazy canucks.  Did you find it yourself or get it from a website/newsletter etc if the former big congrats if the latter I'd be curious to peruse whatever other picks they have.

Conventional penny stock wisdom says to sell half when it doubles, because most people have problems forcing themselves to take profits, have you set a goal to get out at, or are you going to just wait for the inevitable take-over?

I had this on my very near

I had this on my very near term buy list. Maybe Rainy River buys them out. They have properties near Rainy River's. Due to the smaller size of their properties I figured they were going for a buy out eventually. Can't kiss all the girls. :)

Lurker on BOG's Thread

Mrgneiss,

I have been lurking and following BagOfGold's thread on Kitco for a while now, and saw Bayfield. With their resources shown and shares outstanding, they looked like a bargain to me.

You are correct about selling some on gains, it's been a few months since I've been able to sell anything at a profit.  I just set up a sell order for 2500 at .95. Maybe it will hit.

I have always appreciated your wisdom and cool head. Glad to see you here as well.

Thanks for the advice. -Arty
