This thread is intended to try and draw in some of the old TFMR blospot.com "anything goes/patrol thyself" sense of community/atmosphere we once had on the old blogs main page.

It's a little ironic (and sucks) that the almost 1 year anniversary of TF's mission and passion has what seems to be a need for a new thread just one block "Off Main Street". 

It's not because TF has changed or that we've changed drastically but that the site and the times we live in (and the stress) has changed the community in some respects and the tolerance within. Just like the real world.

The " newbies and oldbies and in-betweener's"  need to feel each other out as the site grows and as the audience becomes more diverse.....and to do so away from the front hallway that the main thread represents to newcomers and old timers of TFMR. I think everyone wants TF to succeed and believes in what he tries to convey the best that he can in a very uncertain time for all.  I believe most of us want TF and the site to succeed and that his mission statement be adhered to and recognized as to what the sites about. Not what some think it should be about or want it to become.  

The Mods have a grip on what they believe to be important to TF's wishes and how they address it reflects his wishes and that's the way it should be. I totally respect that.

I would only ask of the Mods. and TF that the spirit and intent of why I set this thread up be tolerated to the extent that it's allowed to resemble the old blogspot as much as possible. No special status or anything like that is being asked, just a chance to be what once was and see if it's helpful to the website going forward. That's my overall  intent . 

I would also ask anyone who wants to visit and post here that they know what to expect here, and what you see is what you get and what a great deal of people originally came to the original blog for. The diverse nature of commentary and the tolerance to let it happen or to simply scroll by is a definite option. (There is also the IU and I urge everyone to use it and get it over with if some people offend your sensibilities)  I suspect trolls (everyone has a different definition) will be called out if the vibe of the room determines the need to address it.

All of this is  possible because our host, The Big Yellow hatted One,  allows it to happen and makes it possible. I welcome anyone to post and that includes TF of course to chime in like the old days.

We all know each other pretty well at this point to know if we don't care for or like what the others post for the most part.

Those that want the old days and that type of thread flow please post whatever you want on here. (and as much as possible also.) What's relevant to you is relevant to most of us that will be on here and if it isn't, scroll by or IU.  It works.
