I just wonder if the loons on the left will remind us who signed this asinine bill into law if Romney is inaugurated in January. Again, note I didn't say elected in November. That part of the equation is pretty much complete.

I note how the goobermint has stated that unemployment will be 'above 7%' for years after the (real) recovery starts.

I guess that will provide the absorption buffer to massage the uncounted unemployed back into the 'official' statistical unemployed.

As humans, our primary focus is to find emotional safety!  For some this means being close to others to reassure ourselves we are ok, for others it means to push others away so our emptiness won't be seen.  Understanding our own form of insanity and choosing appropriate behavior is the single most important survival tool we will ever have!

EDIT to ADD: I've been trying to find more news from other sources on this. So far, only a couple of stories from 2-3 days ago that say the Egyptian Tanks were moved into the Sinai to deal with 'islamist militants'. Not sure what the real story is.

I believe this is a mistake. If he wants to cut back blogging for its own sake, that’s one thing. But to allow the unsavory mass of syphilitic cretins, the under-dwelling bridge trolls, the ugly philistines to unduly influence him truly is an absurdity, one that cries out for correction.

With any luck, this post is that correction.

The METALS

I have spoken before about my contact on the Board of Trade who trades mainly the metals and is in touch with New York minute by minute. He has been saying for several weeks that the metals would have one more big drop (1525-1550) before they really took off. Today he changed his mind. They saw heavy covering of shorts in Chicago and New York. This should show in next week’s COT. They see an explosion of huge proportions and are adding four more floor traders as they see August as a record month for them. He closed by saying "We could see a 100% increase in 90 days." Tie this in with other things that we have read and heard. Golden regards

If what Peter sends us pans out anywhere close to what he has been told, this Mini-Midas is more than well worth the read. What fascinates me is that this new input confirms what my other three sources have been saying. Now we wait to see how this plays out in the three weeks of trading left ahead in August.

In addition, as you well know by now, it has come to my attention from all of my original contacts that JP Morgan has a big problem with their silver short position and that this problem will reveal itself in a public way in the near future…

Kiddos and hat tips all around. I concur, My guess would be someone in the NSA or DHS,  Please don't underestimate the opposition. They have been at this game for a long, long time. I could be wrong, can't say for sure for 100% but I hope it's just a case of pride and self deception, at leasts then there is hope for that soul.

Remember evil in it's most heinous form always masquerades as good.  Our true opposition does not like the light, they can not and will not be drawn into it. They do not like Truth. It's against their nature to do so.

There's a reason why Dagney's still on the site. Despite the amount of ganging up she's endured on this thread, instead of flaming the pants off you guys, she smiled and started a thread in the forums about it. Which is what I asked her to do previously, not engage flame-bait - and instead of flaming the moderator when I emailed her, she was respectful. She can actually be pretty nice in email. 

Beyond that, she's here because TURD SAID SHE COULD STAY. And that's Turd's final word on it, until he changes his mind. :-)

As for this "is she a woman or not" thing going on. As a woman, I actually find the whole discussion kind of offensive. Who says women write one way or the other? We're individuals! And Katie Rose, I have a tremendous amount of respect for you, but as you've said, you are an older woman and you just have no clue how younger women (or even GenX women) might talk. I myself have used the "P-word" on rare occasions with friends...as in, "That Andrew Weiner is a real p*****."

Bottom line: Dagney is here, and if s/he/it is an NSA Agent then you are all playing into her/his/its hands by focusing on her so much. WE HAVE AN IGNORE BUTTON FOR A REASON. USE IT.

Yeah, there's interesting and entertaining stuff here daily, but when push comes to shove, this is an INTERNET FORUM fer cry eye - why take this stuff so serious?

Good lord - who cares if somebody has a gold plated silver vibrator, or platinum ben-wa balls, or is a he or a she or a whatever - it don't mean diddly squat.  Ideas are what matters, not the mouth they come out of, which is why ad hominems are pretty much at the top of every logical fallacy list - attacking the person doesn't attack the idea, which is why I never place anybody on my IU list - if somebody has a position or an idea that runs counter to mine, the LAST thing I want to do is shut myself off from that idea.  There is nothing to fear in having your concepts challenged.

Far as I'm concerned let Dagney - her/him/it - be.  No offense to DT, but there's much more important stuff to be discussing.
