I think he's talking about Nadler at Kitco, but I have no idea if there's been any follow up on that.

I especially love from about the 9:00 mark until the end, especially the part where the bears said "we couldn't get above $500, that was the end, when we couldn't get above 850, that was the end, when we couldn't get above 1000, that was the end...."

Strong Fightin' Words from there right through to the end. yes  Very moving for me, since I bought my first gold in the mid '90's.   Spot gold I think was around 350.  It's been a battle the whole way, with especially severe ups and downs in the miners as well, and sometimes it gets you down, but a speech like this helps keep it all in perspective, and helps us to gather up our nerve for the next battle.  Be Right and Sit Tight, my friends.

I take no joy in seeing THFC knocked out of next year's competition but you have to take the glory when you can.  First time in Chelsea's history to win CLF & boy oh boy did I (kind of) wish that it wasn't our son's birthday party today as we could have gone down to Stamford Bridge to watch the open-topped bus parade of the cup :(  (My kids was hopping about watching the game as much as we were!!)  It wasn't the finest game of football in full-time (but when are they ever at this stage of a competition?) but the penalties were a joy after so much pain for Chelsea in previous attempts.  I was delighted to see them finally achieve this accolade :)

& go the West Ham - my old local club when we lived in Stratford East London (which are my secret second club because of it).  We saw many fans heading down to Wembley when we were driving to Legoland and I share their joy at being back in the Premiership!

Oh yea, I confused the two ass*****.  As far as gold price he's spot on. JS has been saying the same thing as well, since he started in 2006. They can only manage the long term ascent.

I know if I had money in European banks I would be transferring it into a Gold Money account yesterday.

Europe Banks Fear Flight of Deposits

LONDON—The specter of funding problems is once again haunting Europe's banks.

Even after the European Central Bank pumped more than €1 trillion ($1.278 trillion) of cheap three-year loans into hundreds of banks, the Continent's financial system remains vulnerable to the prospect that stampedes of customers could yank their deposits from institutions perceived as shaky.

That threat was shoved into the spotlight last week when customers withdrew more than €700 million from Greek banks in a single day. The deposit flight, in response to the rising odds that Greece will leave the euro zone, represented a dramatic escalation of two years ...

I haven't payed much

I haven't payed much attention to  Dave Morgan BUT of all the people who have been calling price action, he seems to have been one of the most accurate.   He has been calling silver at the 28 level for a long time.  Now he is saying we are near the bottom for silver, gold and the mining shares.   He talks about the psychological aspect of what's going on with the metals.

Nadler

Does anybody have a sense of what the deal is with Nadler?  Is it just a case of stupidy or is there something else at work here that a fulltime metals dealer would employ an analyst of his caliber?

Eriic Originals Peter Grandich post - - -

Great wisdom from Grandich. Peter has been remarkably and consistently accurate with his P.M. calls over the years. He called the top in silver beautifully last year.             His miner calls have been mediocre but only a fortune teller could have foreseen the misery in miners.                                                                                                                                 Anyone who has followed Peters advice re: buy, sell and hold metal over the course of the bull market has done very well.

Nadler's full of shit - -

I can't remember the details but I saw an article that explained how Nadler has an agenda to ridicule the gold bull. One things for sure - if you do the exact opposite of what he says you'll make money.

Murphy - That speech by Howe

Murphy - That speech by Howe brought tears to my eyes. I grew up like he described...hands-off parenting (and, I loved it)! My kids were tucked in between that generation and the new one he describes. But, after my kids left I started working with high school kids in the winter...so, have about 12 or 13 years of winters of milleniums under my belt. Every year has a little different composition as kids graduate and new ones come in....but, overall, the kids are great. And, as our graduates come back to help us now and then, I'm ever more hopeful for the future. There are some really good kids out there.

Eric O - I often think about the folks who understood "money" years ago and what kind of conviction it took/takes to stand by what you think you know in spite of all the noise. I only started digging in 2008...and, I've gone to bed with my head spinning most of the past 4 years. So much information....

IS7 - (Food for thought/discussion maybe......if high EMF readings in your house or in an area where you live (power lines etc.) can adversely affect people living nearby or their moods/brain activity (proven) is it not possible also that the ability of people all over the planet are being affected likewise in their decision making or abilities to reason and solve complex social issues among themselves if the EMF's from the Sun are out of whack? Is this not basically what the 'Fourth Turning' is somewhat about, cycles of all types?)

I'll bite on thissmiley While I would agree there are probably planetary things and EMF things that affect us, I think much smaller...like...decision making, abilities to reason and solve complex issues has a lot more to do with the frankenfoods we consume. But, maybe the love of junk food can be worked into a cycle.

DBean's E.M.F. theory and 'the fourth turning' - - -

Cyclic changes in radiation, magnetism etc. surely affect consciousness. It is well established scientifically that evolution occurs in cyclic waves that coincide with planetary cycles.Increased radiation from the sun seems to cause the mutations necessary for rapid evolutionary changes in species.                                                                               It certainly seems logical that human consciousness could follow a similar pattern.

The credit on the cyclical discussions goes to IS7...I just didn't know how to put his comments in the grey box you all use.. I'm still working on cutting out (or at least down) on frankenfood.

When you figure out how to do the 'grey box comments thing' please let me know in language that even a dumbass can understand. I've been trying to figure it out forever.

Just hit the quote box beneath the post in question.  The system will automatically set it up for you.  Automatically adds the "atarangi wrote:" part of it.  You can add your own comment below the second time where it says "quote".

Half a Million page views for The SeakEasy!

Very, very cool-  and highly appropriate that it seems to have come during a discussion where members were being helpful to one another.  Cheers, mates!

P.S.   I didn't know how those gray quote boxes appeared, either!  Thanks!

Everything but everything has

Everything but everything has a wave frequency.  Even the table comprised of atoms has a wavelength or wave function.  The electron has a wave function.  Consciousness expands in a spiral like fashion.

Plants grow in a spiral like fashion.  The solar system with the planets revolving around the sun is the same model as the atom with electrons and protons.   It's a fractal.  The smaller component contains the same characteristics as the larger components.  A cauliflower is a fractal and it grow in a spiral fashion

We are coming to an end of multiple cycles a 26,00 12,000,  5,000 as well as smaller and larger ones.  This is a fact because not only do the planets revolve around the sun but the solar system revolves around a larger system.  I think they call it the galactic plane which we will be crossing. And the scientists know that it is coming to an end point.  this isn't speculation.  After it reaches this place, the entire cycle starts again.

Ok, I'm guilty like many people saying things like we're screwed.    But it's not really that at all although from the perspective of living life in the way that we are used to is pretty much over.   There is one constant in life and that is change.  You are born, you live and grow old and you die.   The thing that scares people more than anything is change.   Yet, as Greg Braden explains we've been many living many lies that are unsustainable.   That's just the reality that we are getting put in our faces.  And you know what, nobody likes it when their comfort is compromised.

So from another perspective all that's happening is the lies that we as a society have been living, and individuals are up.   It's no different than two people who have been married for 20 years and it doesn't work.   They continue the lie out of fear.   I'd rather be miserable in a relationship than out on my own.   They don't want to deal with the lie.  Well our financial system is a lie but as IS7 it's not the most important lie.   Our global policy is a lie that we are defending the free world.  Lie.   Our consumption habits are a lie.

On one level we might be idealistic and say we want sound money.   But within every one of us, there is a part that doesn't want it.     Because every cycle of creation has a maintenance and destruction cycle.   In order for something new to come, we must face the destruction cycle.  And humans are great when it comes to creating something but they never want to look at the destruction part of the cycle which is as natural as anything.   We love birth but we hate death.    We cry when the forest burns to a crisp but forget within the destruction new growth comes.  Everything must be destroyed.     So in someways what we are talking about is not a in dark or sadistic future, it's greater authenticity.   However, the nature of the destructive cycles creates panic and fear in man.  Easy when you read it in the history books, much more difficult when you are living through it.    And sometimes, we won't look at something until it is at our doorstep.

Most Americans could care less what happens in Indonesia or Subsaharan africa.    Most can't even locate them on a map.   When I watchd the World trade center come down, I was with an Indian friend.  He turns to me and says, we have earthquakes that swallow millions of people and nobody bats an eyelash.   And it's true.   Now we are being forced to deal with things that are usually problems in third world countries.   A bitch huh?

I won't get into it but the increase in tornodo's and now hurricane's has to do with converging forces and the increased activity in the sun is related.

I disagree with him that we have seen the worse of it but overall I like his presentation and take on it.
