Everyone...

Thanks for your input on Golden Goliath!...For now I will watch & wait until they come out with drill results!...On my last post here from yesterday...I was unable to access TFM until now...& it appeared the site was down!...It looks like I may have been the only one unable to access?...Was anyone else having this problem?...

Under the current market circumstances, I wish that all of my non-producers would do the same as Golden Goliath: Save their (ours!) friggin cash! Even the most wonderful drill results do not produce any share price appreciation... There are too many exploration companies with excellent projects diluting their existing shareholders at rock bottom prices (shame on them!)... A shareholder-friendly company need not do any drilling until market conditions change!

A number of years ago...I was asked what would happen if the miners share prices kept going down while gold & silver kept going up & what you are saying...is occuring right now!...Many of my pennies have not followed the move up...& shortly...you will see them not reporting any drill results...they will go on strike!...I gave up posting any news for a few weeks now...because great drill results are reported...& they are flushed down the toilet!...If this continues into the long term...there won't be any new exploration or new mining coming on board...& miners may postpone...or close down their operations!...The result will be a scarcity of gold & silver...& gold & silver along with the share prices for miners will absolutely soar!!!...

Question for BofGold or anyone else.

This question is very very very speculative.  You can't have the exact right answer - but you might have a guess.

Lets say QE3 comes out on July 10th.  Using the GDXJ symbol as a guage.  Where the range is between $22 and $42.  Where on that range would you expect GDXJ to be trading that day (July 10th)?

Also, lets say I have a target price on Cream Minerals as being 45 cents.  Would that 45 cent target go up because the dollar has fallen due to QE3?

Any input would be appreciated.

Thanks.

Hey BoG

Have a great summer!

I'll check on your thread while you're gone.  I'm pretty familiar with many of the stocks on your list.  Mostly the Canada/Mexico ones, not so much on the rest.

Mostly I think we are both relying on the "regulars" on this thread, who have interests in a given particular stock, to keep the thread active.

Personally, I'm thinking maybe we saw the lows in the miners last week.  But I'm an incurable optimist, so that could be just the hopium talking.  cheeky

With the way things are trading, I would not be surprised to see it break $20 surprise. Valuations would change based on the price of gold. Figure out a fair value now and then adjust for increased revenue (higher POG) and increased costs (higher oil/inflation).

The List

Hi everyone,

I'm new to this forum, but heard about "the List" of good mining companies. Where can I find that list? Is it in the archives of this forum?

Thanks...

Some technicals...

Just in case this tickles someone's fancy, gold just finished an inverse head & shoulders that should take us to the mid $1700s. If it can then cross $1800, a much bigger inverse h & s should take us to about $2100. The GDXJ also just broke the upper resistance to its downward trend line started in the end of Feb. Just a bit of fun... wink

Is 43-101 compliance a viable evaluation...

for miners?...

http://www.stockhouse.com/Columnists...date--Stockhou

Definitely a great explanation why many miners in the entire mining sector have been floundering!...Probably the best insight I have heard since Rick Rule declared the Ventures Exchange miners comparable to moose pasture!!!...
