A woman described as "heavyset" and naked except for her shoes was pulled off the J-Church line on Tuesday morning, and while cops and medical personnel were evaluating her near the intersection of 24th and Church in Noe Valley, she threw off a blanket that had been wrapped around her, walked up on the hood of one man's car, and stomped on his windshield. The man, John Knight, described the crazed woman as about 250 pounds, and he had a lot of explaining to do to his insurance company.
“They asked if the car was on the side of a street or in a parking lot,” says Knight. “I told them, ‘No, a naked woman just got on my hood and stomped on it.’ They didn’t really know what to make of it.”
The woman was hospitalized but it does not seem that she was arrested. Knight says he won't press charges because, well, she's unhinged.
Update: SFist commenter Paula Maxa posted the following pic of said woman in action:

I'll bet that guy will be traumatized for years... Therapy and whiskey for him.
And Welcome to the Speak- Feel free to grab a cold one!
That pic and story is so random! Friggin' funny or what?
Look at the persons reaction in the car. ![]()
The staff is happy to see you and ready to serve.....

Cheers!
I've been waiting for the right time to open up a bottle of vintage Domaine Carneros. I thought the museum opening would be perfect. Nothing wrong with wanting to remain a street artist, though. Maybe I'll save the bubbly until silver sticks at 50.
That all looks great, but I'm good right here. Got one of these bad boys in the oven right now (New York Strip Roast) and a bottle of Riesling Spatlese chilling down... :D

I've stopped eating a lot of sushi because of the Japanese Nuclear Spewing Program..... the bio-uptake must be pretty significant on the Pacific side..... It's a bummer because it was one of my favorite types of food....
Japanese monkey's.
Is it too late for brunch?...Looks yummy!!!...

Slow crowd today so I kept everything covered up and warm.
Free munchies all night for everyone. It looks delicious.
Made my mouth water just looking at the pictures. And that beef by Eric O? Magnifique!!
But, given my current circumstances, I couldn't afford the cover charge for such a repast. Thought you'd like to see what I dined on today while you all were partaking of top drawer cuisine.

But don't worry about ol' Ferd. I've found that by raising the hood on my old Continental, I can set the beans and biscuits on top of the radiator and get them warm enough to eat without fear of food poisoning.
And, it appears that my financial outlook may improve markedly in the next 24 hours. A policy holder happened to be in Vegas last week and observed some of the goings on. Brought back some still shots and an interesting video. I figure I can parlay these into enough fiat to pay off my credit cards and have enough left to host brunch in the Speak next Sunday. Eggs Benedict and Mimosas for all!
Hope I don't have to post these but will if I must.
Listening, Murphy? Remember the little skinny dipping session at the "Ranch"? Wasn't as private as you thought.
All I can say is...

I picked a hell of a weekend to go to work. First, I missed the pre- Oscar party at the Speak on Saturday night and then I missed Sunday brunch!
Ferd, I've got an alibi for that time over the weekend in question. I'm pointing the finger at someone who is accomplished in the art of photo shop for framing me the the photo in question.
That's my story and I'm stickin' to it.
Honoring your wishes is the important thing. We'll appreciate your creations that much more as you create them one by one.
