looking looking looking

I'm looking for a cup and handle in the PMs - apex 1730 Au/33.50 Ag then back to 1764/34.50.

A bigger beatdown would be more than welcome.  My riding position will profit if things take off again and if we smash the afore-mentioned, I'll momentum trade with tight stops.

I get the feeling we're now in a congestion zone until solidly clear of 1800/36 so I'll be staying nimble for the time being.  Could just buy and hold, but that aint my game.

@PA - I'm still looking for euro to 1.3150-1.30 to establish new positions.  I'd be a little patient with it as it looks coiled and ready to spring to 1.35-1.40-1.45 over the next few months.  By a trusted friend's calculations, there's roughly E900 billion worth of 'smart money' betting on the same.

gratitude

I have to say I am very grateful for the level of intelligence and awareness that is exhibited by the company here on this board. I was reminded of that today when i ventured over to a guy's thread on Facebook this afternoon. He is a commerical artist of some small notoriety and an acquaintance.  He cannot stop blabbering on in defense of Obottom. And he accuses anyone who is critical of racism. A completely pathetic and ignorant mind-space that this guy inhabits. Hasn't a clue about whats coming down on Wall Street.

Its just really draining and disheartening to see the levels of denial and confusion, ignorance and stupor that an otherwise reasonable person puts on public display in defense of a cliche. He has no idea how easily snookered he was by the brand and the sale.

Flat in gold again

I'm flat in gold for now.  I'll buy back tomorrow morning and afternoon.

I'm holding my silver longs.

Raid probably won't happen (IF it even happens) until tonight or the early hours of tomorrow morning - why would the options guys waste their ammo a day early?

Raids can happen at any time. Thus I am always ready...and always patient. Trust me, it pays off :)

Fair enough.   Wasn't thinking within the timeframe of a quick flip when I posted this, was suggesting that there would be little point buying on a raid today if a deeper raid would likely come tomorrow (if your holding timeframe was longer than a few hours - NOT pivots).

Huh? I'm exclusively looking at pivots. Always happy to load on lows over several days. And sell the same way back up too. That's why selling 33.79 yesterday wasn't painful (considering run topped at 34.40), the matching buy was in 32s :)

Presently carrying some low 33s, but I'm lighter than I want to be so bring on the raid/s!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

LNG

SW,

Did you buy that dip? I added at 13.49.  Might crash some more. Remember, LNG moves in 7% swings (with the occasional 10% move).  Next bid in at 13.25.

LNG

SSK yes I did, but I sold the bear flag that formed. Haven't had time to babysit it and did not think it would make 14 on its first bounce, we see.

thanks for the posts, I will look into some of that great stuff.

Digestion

Digestion day for Granny after nice expansion move yesterday in miners and metals.

BTFD

We could get even more dip due to OE on horizon.

I await the Oscar red carpet. I was not invited this year. Kaiser Soza was also not invited. Politics. General Atlee is back at the front over seeing the proceedings with spy glasses focused always and relentlessly upon the enemy. Troops now refreshed and heartened. The swell of another charge looms ahead for week's end. The dead are buried, the wounded are returned in the long wagon lines to their wives and mothers who wait silently in the Richmond redoubts.

The plan is simple. Wait for the Union commander to move his awkward, heavy lines forward. Wait until he is over committed and extended beyond what is defensible, then counter engage. Who commands now? Who is new replacement from Washington. McClellan was a no show upon the field. A dandy and a politician of little reknown. The General bid him packing just days ago by mere threat and reinforcement of his right flank. So who will Lincoln use now to stuff his  squalid army with mock fervor? What neophyte down from the Point will take the reins? Burnside? The madman Hooker? The tireless alcoholic Grant? No matter. All are men and as men all of them are vulnerable and likely to turn. The General turns the short cigar between his lips, tastes the bitter, acrid smoke and waits patiently for his next move....

Bad risk/reward setup, even if it does get there.  Let it pull back some
