I'd like to initiate this thread to fish some wiser commentary from our more seasoned PM aficionados. 

What have you found to be the most common argument against holding physical metals like gold/silver, and what is your best refutation in defense of your acquiring physical?

SYDNEY (Reuters) - 

Gold denominated in Australian dollars has been home on the range for a year, but the yellow metal is about to come out from down under and break to new all-time highs. 

Gold is beginning the fourth leg of what will be a five-stage move that will take it from current levels of around A$1,461.86 an ounce toward A$1,950 .

What I like about Impact is they have performed  well on developing mines. Currently bringing new mine into production. Their latest drilling results have been excellent and serious room for growth.

My PM holdings currently consist of a mixture of Gold Eagles (various weights), 1 oz Silver Eagles, 100 oz Englhard bars, and bags of 90% silver halves.

I'd like to simplify what I own into fewer forms; probably reduce the 100 oz bars and the 90% silver halves and increase the Silver and Gold eagles.  Of course, I'm hesitant to give up the premium (on both the sell and buy side) to carry this out.

Does anybody have some good tips on how to rebalance physical holdings?

Greetings Gentlemen. I put this here not because I think its a conspiracy theory, but that will no doubt be a line of defense about certain aspects of it when it blows up. I believe the ramifications from this are enormous, possibly one of the biggest stories of the year to come.
