This Week's JB-SFC

I couldn't listen live last evening due to Woody's SOTU hogging the airwaves. Though this is being posted "sound unheard", I'm confident that the information presented and discussed was as helpful as usual.

Once again...Mr. Batchelor and Professor Cohen offer the only reasoned and objective discussion of The New Cold War in the western media. Please try to carve out time every week to listen.

Is This It ????

Lucky 4th ???? Darn 2nd They look like a nice couple, I wonder if she's holding his knee. Keep Stacking

Marchas, how come you aren't waiting for 4th anymore?

I hate change... it always means things get worse...  maybe that's why I don't like Obama.

Edit: by the way Marchas, I have sold two of my money-pit rentals. Took a loss, but headed the right direction. Real estate somehow is still fairly active. Good time to get situated for the future, cause things will be changing whether I like it or not.

I hear you my friend, I'm glad you got rid off the rentals. Real estate will be active for a while yet until the sheepie realize O! O! what have I done. Stack! Stack! and Stack! some more and you will get real estate for pennies on the dollar or should say with a few Silver Dimes when TSHTF. Keep Stacking

@ Marchas

I admit my limited knowledge of real estate law; and it probably varies state to state.

However my question is: MUST title be satisfied in FRNs? Is barter allowable as far as you know?

That is the metal for land with houses and barns when the time comes. Maybe sooner than I think. I'd love to have a little ranch with a good water supply out West here. Just missed a foreclosed vacation retreat property sitting on a dozen acres with a conference room-dining room and about 20 bedrooms, a creek and pond. Only six million!

When the system reset comes, if the PTB lose control via a revolution, land will be abundent and cheap while metals will be scarce and valuable. I want a place to be self sufficient and have room for desperate friends and relatives who cannot stay in the city.  My current property is lacking in a few key things. I have a buyer for that one, but I'll feel a bit nervous until we secure another possible bug-out property.

I know one Seller demanded to be paid in gold and received it but the other parties involved agents, attorneys and such were paid with checks. I was part of that deal. That was a sight to see those gold coins on the table. Lol

Up here in Maine the closings are usually done by mostly attorney's but there are a few closing agents.

To answer your question YES you can barter but others that are involved may want FRN's for payment. Me I would take Silver or Gold. Lol  Keep stacking

All you need is a handful of  gold and someone to do the deed, recording and your all set.

Except there has to be DISCLOSURE the State and Uncle Sam need their cuts. Lol

@Dr J

Topol-M: world’s fastest nuclear missile 26,000 km/h (MACH 21)

Does 26,000 km/h seem fast to you ? Or to put it in non metric system terms... 16,155 MPH. Seems fast to me.

Joseph Warren's picture

Many rifle bullets . . .

travel at a speed of around 2200 mph (say 3200 fps).

16,155 mph seems damned fast to this layman !

(Though the Space Station's average speed is 17,100 mph. I can usually see it orbit past me two or three times a night.)

Topol M

Moscow to New York in under 20 minutes or Los Angeles in under 25 minutes.
