Happy Birthday To Us!

WOW! Has it really been a whole year? Yes, it has. Amazing!
One year ago today, we flipped the switch on TFMR. Where has the time gone? Where has my money gone? (Oh yah, JPM took it when MFG failed.)
On 6/14/11, gold was trading around $1525. Back then, some were worried that that level would be a "top". Interestingly, after all we've been through this past year, we now view $1525 as an almost impenetrable floor. Hmmm. What a difference a year makes.
On the other hand, back on 6/14/11 silver was trading near $35. Many of us would take that right now. Oh well, just have a little patience and we will be there again soon.
We're giving away a couple of hats today. Four weeks ago, we began contests for the most accurate predictions of Comex closing price today for both silver and gold. Let's give away two more! At 1:30 pm EDT today, what will be the total number of pageviews for this site over the past year AND what will be the total number of "unique visitors", as measured by google? Please use the comments section to enter your guesses. I'll begin a new thread this afternoon where we'll announce the winners.
Until then, have a great day. I see that The Wicked Witch decided to mark our anniversary by sending us a gift, unabomber-style. She seems intent upon keeping the price of silver under $29. I wonder why? Anyway, I hope you have a fun day. Check back in a few hours for that new thread. TF

Congrats Turd!
You've survived site crashes, countless trolls, ongoing manipulation, liars, screwtape jerkweeds, blythe's unending BS, and god knows what else, and here you are! Well done!
Always remember- the site is a community. Like I said in prior posts, where else can we go to share ideas with like-minded, bright, logical people?? This is it my friends. This is home. When the SHTF we will all be here reading, posting, thinking, and prepping bc Turd invested the time and money to make it happen.
Well done Turd!!! And a very hearty thanks to all of the posters who come on day after day to share ideas, thoughts, and yes, frustration and encouragement, every single day!
Now, about that FUBM ..........

Be alert for a lot of new posters today that will show up in the mod queue, awaiting approval. Lots of lurkers may want to wish TF a happy birthday. I just approved a couple, and I expect there will be more.
AND TO ALL:
Happy Birthday!!! Not just to TF, but to this entire community. It's been an interesting year, and it seems things will just get more and more "interestinger".

My 28.50 silver guess is still in the running! Gold 1585, I hope not.
Thanks Turd
Happy Birthday! This is by far the best site on the net. I learn more and more every day. Thanks again Turd, my family owes you bigtime.
Happy B-Day Turd
I just sent you a birthday present, ahemmm, Donation. It feels good to feed the Turd. Thanks for making this place happen. It is a real gem. This community is filled a need in the PM world and I am happy to be a part of it. There really is no other place like this on the web. Great job Turd and every Turdite out there.
Congratulations
And keep up the good work!
Friendly advice for Year 2: ignore the naysayers. When something evil appears to be happening in the financial markets, yours is *the* go-to site for honest, open-minded discussion of the motives and potnetial ramifications of the obvious malfeasance we're subjected to by the greedy, sociopathic scum who run the show. Everything else, including your fine TA, is gravy!

Happy Birthday TFMR!
Only one guess so far???
Perhaps everyone needs a reminder...
There is a new/additional contest today: As of 1:30 pm EDT, how many total pageviews will the site have in its history and how many unique visitors?
So far, schnozzberries is a guaranteed victor as he is the only one guessing.
@Turd - I don, know Mr.
@Turd - I don, know Mr. Bones. What is the most important of markets telling us?
(Cpnscarlet - willing to be a straight man for anyone).

Not just for today, for the entire year.
You are allowed a new guess.
Things that make me go hmmmm?
I just noticed that Turd opened this thread at 9:16 AM. Then, I look at Kitco for PM prices and I see they stepped off a cliff. I don't have access to a minute by minute chart, but something looks a little hinkey. You don't suppose the B-cup Barracuda is trying to send Turd a message. She still hasn't gotten over him rejecting her advances.

Happy 1 year Birthday Turd!! That was a quick year for sure, thanks for all you do, looking forward to the next year. The next 12 months will go down in the history books, and this site will be on top of all the market action.
I hope
FX markets are bracing for the swiss peg to give, the Swiss came out today adamant it will defend it. Reminds me of Ireland not needing a bailout, Spain being fine etc, etc.
I think it more likely that Syriza will win a majority in Greece, then the poo starts flying. (Unless they are compromised or liars, imagine that!)

I've noticed that most are at least "in the ballpark" for total pageviews.
As for unique visitors, everyone needs to think much, much bigger. Gee, if I only had a dollar for every unique visitor...

@Eric O
Lately i am playing with the thought that despite what the whole world hopes for and thinks, the FED will not deliver a new overt QE program.
I think the end game of the banking cartel (and the people behind the scenes) is to create the problem (imploding financial system, derivative bomb etc) and then hand out the solution: a new global financial system, 100% electronical fiat with them at the steering wheel. Every country that is like Greece is today, has to either accept this new system or be destroyed due to their debt burden.
In order to achieve that, they will need a certain critical mass of countries that will have no other option than to accept the new world currency after their economies collapsed. The big question is, did they already get to that point.
In any case, i think Romney has been chosen behind the scenes to lead the US to the cliff, and what better way to achieve this than to crash the economy even more than today.
This line of thinking would also answer one of my questions right from the start: why would it be that a seemingly intelligent guy like Bernanke would do things that a 3 year old would understand to be wrong...We usually tell ourselves he is arrogant, stupid, or clueless, but somehow i never took that answer for granted.
Now, if all of the above is true, it would mean an imploding Europe, with Japan and US following soon. It would imply massive bank runs, only to find out that whatever we stuffed under our matresses will have no value after all.
It would mean, to keep stacking......
My guess
