Absolutely ridiculous and comical nonsense. NO ONE should be attempting to trade gold and/or silver futures on the Comex. The WOPRs and The Cartel are completely in charge and every mutterance and headline sends a cascade of HFT orders based solely upon phraseology and syntax. THIS IS MADNESS! In the end, the fiat price of true money is left to shift in the wind, regardless of the underlying fundamentals. Therefore, THE ONLY ONES WITH A CHANCE are the regulars in Andy's Army. EVERYONE ELSE must avoid day trading at all costs. THE ONLY OPTION is to buy physical metal on paper metal dips and TAKE DELIVERY.

Have a nice weekend. TF

That I would really like to add to my little collection, but I think it is highly likely that there will be a major dip again.  In a collapse, if large entities are faced with either bankruptcy or selling gold assets, it will be sell sell sell.  Even if that is the wrong long term policy, they will be forced to. Liquidity will be king.  We saw this in the last crisis.

So I am with Ivars on this one, and will keep significant dry powder. Once the rush to dollars is seen as an illusion of safety as spigots are opened, then gold will fly.

But when it does, will I be able to get these beauties? A have a few coins that I have for their aesthetics, but most are run of the mill sovs. So perhaps I should see these coins as works of art with a limited edition print, knowing they will be difficult to get in the future and that I would never sell. I think I have just convinced myself.

Nice capitulation

Turd, nice to see you capitulating in paper silver.  Better to be early to that capitulation than a late comer because the late comers will be staring at $24 and mumbling about the need for razor blades.  I am not even sure $24 will be the bottom by the end of this summer.

As more people capitulate on paper silver, then the registered silver at the Crimex will decrease even more.  Then the great unwashed will claim it is a silver shortage!  ha ha

The down draft in price will be completed when people curse at silver and gentleman Sprott.  Why just look at all the gamblers in Sprott's PSLV who bought above $13 and need to be flushed out of their positions:

http://finance.yahoo.com/echarts?s=PSLV+Interactive#symbol=pslv;range=2y...

With that chart action Sprott is going to have a harder time finding money for his next big purchase.  It's lousy advice to buy silver on the dips THIS year.  What is a dip in price?  $2 or $3?  I will buy it on plunges deep into the $20's.

Good spot. I couldn't get the pic of the actual St Gaudens for sale, which is a 1928. Got the pic from a library. Hadn't noticed it was 1933. I got excited for a moment there!

All St Gaudens are beautiful. It's just that a 1933 is the "most beautiful":) Hope you get the 1928.

You only live once:)  Not a bad price considering that  bullion AGEs are usually priced at spot plus  at least 5.5%, or more. Depending on the grade of the coin it could be a "steal". Even if it's not "mint" you'd still have a piece of history and .9675 ounces of gold. Good luck in whatever decision you  make.

"The USA system of justice is the best in the world. It is full of flaws, but does have certain features which I find remarkable in their application, still today."

I think it was a good system for the populace it was designed for. A Nation makes a system, but a people make a Nation. Ours is, quite simply, not the same Nation it was. We have a history of identifying problems distinct to a small sub-set of our population, and generating 'solutions', restrictions, and regulations that hinder all.

Because we refuse to look at WHO is committing gun crimes, we restrict guns and blame them. Because cities are over-run by violent, predatory, feral "youths", curfews apply for all. And with the rampant (but hushed) victimization by 'protected classes', how can we tell the sea of shattered victims that we have any justice system at all?

Because we refuse to look at WHO lines up eagerly to sign for loans they can't/won't pay, we have banks accused of redlining and required by law to make bad loans - and we all suffer more expensive and unnecessary 'protections' from .gov. Because we refuse to look at WHO chooses lifestyles that increase infant mortality rates, we ALL get blamed as somehow being bad people for allowing that to happen (but, Lord knows if we took measures to stop such behaviors, we'd be even more 'evil').

A people make a Nation. We've got a MultiKult Empire where the .gov has all the wedges it will ever need. We have NO Freedom of Association. Trotsky, Stalin, and the Frankfurt school were WELL aware of the corrosive power of ethnic preference and displacement - it's biological warfare done domestically. Our .gov wants a dependent, helpless, thoughtless populace. YOU do not fit the bill and that is why you and yours are being replaced.

Our 'right' to self-governance may be inviolate, but our spines seem to have gone missing.

@ivars Chaos

Very well put yes

The level of anxiety on a daily basis is rising on the board here. Why ? the EE in their little game of checkers have no choice but to continually make moves whether they be wrong, right, legal or illegal. The have to continue to make moves to keep people confused. That is the only way they can keep the entire ponzi going. Whether it be the economy in general or the Comex. If they stop making daily moves to keep people off balance they know that will give people time to actually do some critical thinking and figure out that the game is rigged.

We on the other hand have a great luxury they they do not. TIME, we can choose not to make a move, That is actually a move in and of itself. We can Choose not to be suckered in by their managed panic and controlled chaos. Not to be rushed in our decisions.

When you see everything around you is in panic, That is THE REASON to get calm, The phrase PANIC KILLS does not just refer to life and death situations, When people get in a panic or excited state they usually make things incredibly worse.

As far as the EE, F*&K-EM Let them play checkers all they want, I'm Playing Chess

@Stratajema

Your prediction of $24 per ounce (or lower!) silver prices this summer seems ludicrous.   Every day, all the canoes get a little closer to the waterfall.  With the trouble in Spain, Italy and Japan, the threat of asinine war in the mideast and the total inability of the U.S. to even moderate its debt addiction you think silver's price is going to be smashed down 25% from its price now.   I think that's utterly impossible.  And the reason isn't because the EE doesn't wish it could drive it that low or that Turdites and stackers would stop them.  The reason is that the EE won't let it go that low.  As Andrew McGuire said in an interview a month or two back and others have corroborated, the EE can see everyone's buy orders.  They know that if they go much below the present price they will trigger a tsunami of buying.  Yet, they were barely able to fulfill the contracts they had in the last delivery month, March, at the Comex.   A price of $24 per ounce would destroy their toy casino.  It won't be allowed to happen.  If there's a factor that I'm missing here, please tell me.

The Left Right Paradigm is Over: Its You vs. Corporations

I love the article you are about to read because it is very much in line with some of what this site is about.  USAWatchdog.com is neither “Democrat nor Republican, liberal or conservative.”  I just want to connect the dots and find out what’s really going on, no matter which party is in power.  Guest writer Barry Ritholtz does a great job of laying out real issues Americans need to deal with.  His post centers on corporations and how they have corrupted both political parties.  For example, Goldman Sachs CEO Lloyd Blankfein gave equally to both political parties this year.  Big corporations don’t care who is in power just as long as they get to call the shots.  It is a foregone conclusion that the U.S. House of Representatives will change over to Republican control.  The folks holding the signs that say “fire Nancy Pelosi” are going to get their wish.  But when she is gone as Speaker of the House, I ask, then what?  I haven’t heard Republicans (or Democrats vs Republicans for that matter) talk much about the big banks ripping off the country.  What is unraveling now is the biggest financial fraud in history, but it is not a campaign discussion.  I don’t think it will be addressed when the Republicans take control of the House proving, once again, both Democrats and Republicans are just one body with two heads.

The Socialist’s Anchor

Despite the anti-socialist rhetoric from the modern conservative movement, I have realized that the modern conservative is the socialist’s best friend. Where the Conservative is adverse to change, they have accepted the 20th century version of America that includes socialist lite policies (Social Security, Medicare, FDA, SEC, FCC, Government Schools, etc.). Therefore, the modern conservative is fighting to preserve a lower bound for socialism, while the progressives (modern liberals) seek to expand it.

Scale of Socialized Goods and Services According to Political Philosophy

As time moves on, the modern conservative will simply change what they are willing to preserve. In the past 100 years, government has grown and so has its involvement in our economy and personal lives. Much of this involvement has become accepted by the modern conservative and has become the new lower bound for socialism. Where the Conservative of the early/mid 1900′s was against government entitlements and federal control of our economy, the modern conservative now accepts some of these programs as worthy endeavors and could not imagine life without them.

The Hypocritical Hateful Newsmedia

Fox News is about as evil as you can get, misleading the public and blindly supporting the Republicans. Most people fail to realize that the entire Democrat/Republican conflict is staged, a left/right paradigm designed to divide the country. Jesus plainly taught that a house divided cannot stand. Luke 11:17, “But he, knowing their thoughts, said unto them, Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation; and a house divided against a house falleth.” Americans are divided on nearly everything! All of the arguing, bickering and slandering between politicians is only in the public's eye. In private they are all buddies, wining and dining together. It is sickening how stupid the American people are. Wake up!

Dear Neo-cons and Liberals Wrestling Isn't Real67

The FAKE LEFT/RIGHT PARADIGM is a framework for guiding our thoughts and actions into conflicts that lead us to a predetermined solution. In short, the critical process by which the parasitic elite create a problem, anticipating in advance the reaction that the population will have to the crisis, and thus convincing the people that a change is necessary. Once the population has been properly conditioned, the desired agenda of the ruling elite is released as the solution. The solution isn't intended to solve the problem, but rather to exacerbate it.

Democrats vs Republicans: The false paradigm of American politic

In conclusion, by adopting names that have broad appeal and emotional as well as historical significance to Americans, Political parties in the United States have successfully created a false paradigm of ideological beliefs that have no real bearing on practical politics. The emergence of the Tea party, in which uses a reference to the infamous Boston Tea Party to create an emotional appeal with the electorate is only the latest in a long line of manipulation by the political elite to mislead the public from important issues by focusing on rhetoric and irrelevant ideological debates.

Delusion

The whole Democrat vs. Republican thing is only for those who are still in delusion. They are not a true representation of right and left anyway. The real right-wing and left-wing could easily take the few things Ron Paul and Ralph Nader would agree on, come together, form a platform, and throw the Republocrat one-party system out of office.

Ending war. Fiscal responsibility. Freedom of lifestyle. Democrats and Republicans are the only two groups of people who don't want those things. The rest of us do. Democrats and Republicans are slaves to ideology, which means they behold themselves to an idea rather than to reality. This is how populations become so confused, when they live in a mythological reality enslaved to imaginary ideas rather than responding to the physical reality right outside of their own head.

If you say that Republican vs. Democrat is a fraud and a charade,

I'll agree wholeheartedly.

The article above points out that Conservatism is a great enabler of Socialism.

I'd agree wholeheartedly. Conserve what, exactly?

But, if you say that Left vs. Right is a fraud and a charade,

I'll laughlaughlaugh at your ignorance of history.

It just looks that way because there is no "right" represented in our current political mush.
