This Could Be Significant

It looks like El Commandante has refused to accept shares of GLD and/or a fat, premium check from The Wicked Witch.

Uh-oh. 99 tonnes of BoE gold is about 8% of the supposed "inventory" of the fraudulent shell GLD. Look for the next Obama/NATO "kinetic military action" to begin in the next seven days or so.  TF

Fidel, Hugo, et. al.

This is reprinted from the end of two threads ago (there have been a lot of threads today¡)

The United States CIA made more than 20 failed assasination attempts on the life of Fidel Castro over the decades but his ashé was so strong and his power in Santo (as well as that of Santeros and Babalawos who were doing works to protect his life) so outlandish that they never got close. And this happened with virtually every Santero on the Island and all of them in Florida having Fidel's name in their Ogún working for his death. (When Fidel made the charge that the CIA had made over 20 attempts on his life the CIA responded that they only knew of five but in this one case I trust that Fidel was right.)

I do not know if Hugo is a Santero but there is no way, even if he is, that he shares the great ashé in any meaningful measure that Fidel had and still has.

The USA can, and should for the stability of the world, excise Hugo from the planet. It sounds barbaric but is the sad, basic truth. The same is true for a growing number of South American Fidel-wannabes. Got to get them done before they undergo the ceremonies that Fidel underwent in Africa.

Thought my last post was a bit extreme...

then again, maybe not. Fat chance Chavez is going to get his gold. LOL. TPTB will dream up some new game plan, take the guy out, then seize all of his assets. Basic textbook stuff...

Also, kinda went off the deep end yesterday with all the 9/11 discussion and so forth. Sorry guys...

JPM, BoE et al will act nonplussed

I can't imagine that they will just say 'ok' and let Venezuela repatriate so much gold...I imagine a series of long delays, perhaps some kind of sanctions brought against Chavez's government for whatever pretext they can come up with as an excuse to confiscate or freeze Venezuelan assets...all the while they will try to keep the appearance of it being no big deal to deliver all that gold if it really came to that.

But behind the scenes TPTB must be in a panic to contain this.

Transitory

This is just a phase Chavez is going through in his life right now.  Won't have any effect on the PM market.

Yeah, the BOE received a request "recently". What does this mean? The beginning of Aug? Or perhaps as far back as the beginning of July? Hmm...

GLD Puts

Does this mean my way OTM Jan 12 60 and 65 puts that I bought for pennies are going to be worth a fortune on a very short amount of time because the fraudulent GLD is about to fold?  I believe I even posted a few months ago it was a long shot bet but I have had crazier bets in Vegas.  Comments and thoughts ?

I cant remember who said it but it goes something like this:  "When the tide goes out, you find out who is swimming naked"?

Well looks like there might be a whole lot of naked folks in the water.....

Like I posted in the last thread, Hugo is going to go ape$hit when he finds out he can't get his gold. You can define what ape$hit means, but I'm pretty sure we are all in the same boat on that definition.

"The Sprott Foundation, named after Eric Sprott, announced that it is selling two million units of its Sprott Physical Gold Trust (PHY.U-T15.770.070.45%), worth about $30-million at Wednesday's price.

In its announcement, Sprott said that the proceeds would be reinvested in the silver sector"

Funny. I am 10% gold and 90% silver, and just yesterday I considered if I would not sell my remaining 10% of gold for silver, if gold continues to rise unproportionally to silver. That's why I like Sprott. He recognizes what's going on, and he also puts his money where his mouth is.

Aaron Russo, Filmmaker and Whistleblower, warned of an attempt to Remove Chavez from power.  Could this be the pretext of it since the previous attempts have failed?  Is Chavez forcing the hand?

Is the SEC Covering Up Wall Street Crimes?

A whistleblower claims that over the past two decades, the agency has destroyed records of thousands of investigations, whitewashing the files of some of the nation's worst financial criminals

By Matt Taibbi

August 17, 2011 8:00 AM ET

Imagine a world in which a man who is repeatedly investigated for a string of serious crimes, but never prosecuted, has his slate wiped clean every time the cops fail to make a case. No more Lifetime channel specials where the murderer is unveiled after police stumble upon past intrigues in some old file – "Hey, chief, didja know this guy had two wives die falling down the stairs?" No more burglary sprees cracked when some sharp cop sees the same name pop up in one too many witness statements. This is a different world, one far friendlier to lawbreakers, where even the suspicion of wrongdoing gets wiped from the record.

That, it now appears, is exactly how the Securities and Exchange Commission has been treating the Wall Street criminals who cratered the global economy a few years back. For the past two decades, according to a whistle-blower at the SEC who recently came forward to Congress, the agency has been systematically destroying records of its preliminary investigations once they are closed. By whitewashing the files of some of the nation's worst financial criminals, the SEC has kept an entire generation of federal investigators in the dark about past inquiries into insider trading, fraud and market manipulation against companies like Goldman Sachs, Deutsche Bank and AIG. With a few strokes of the keyboard, the evidence gathered during thousands of investigations – "18,000 ... including Madoff," as one high-ranking SEC official put it during a panicked meeting about the destruction – has apparently disappeared forever into the wormhole of history.
